Holidays & Goodies :)

Ora, já fui de férias 5 dias, já voltei, já tive 1 semana e meia de trabalho e para a semana tenho férias de novo! Ah pois, que ainda não as tinha tirado todas...agora até vão saber mais a férias porque serão 2 semanas seguidas :D

Entretanto, tenho bordado, pois claro, pois a vontade nunca falta, mas não vos posso mostrar já o projecto em que estou a trabalhar, pois será uma surpresa, mas só falta mesmo uma parte do ponto linear...aquele ponto que dá um toque maravilhoso ao trabalho mas que normalmente me stressa muito lol

Iniciei também um novo projecto, tal como tinha dito no post das metas do mês, e esse vou mostrar-vos como está....não posso é ainda revelar o que será e para quem, pois também é surpresa :)

Confesso que adoro as cores...adoro bordar em cores assim tão coloridas :)

E na semana passada tive mais uma surpresa fantástica no correio...um miminho muito bom da amiga Filipa, que é uma querida!

Gostei tanto...de tudo! Desde o começar a desembrulhar aquele tecido fofo, até ver todas as coisas lindas que ela enviou. Obrigada mais uma vez, minha querida :) 

Ando cheia de saudades do "velhinho" correio...de escrever cartinhas à mão, ir aos  correios comprar os envelopes e selos, escrever as moradas e deixar tudo lá cheia de vontade de que  tudo chegue rapidamente ao seu destino. E também de, de vez em quando, chegar à minha caixa de correio e ver as maravilhas que as amigas mandam:) A tecnologia é fantástica, ninguém pode negar, mas nada chega a uma boa cartinha enviada pelo correio:)

Ando a enviar umas quantas coisinhas e ainda não pararei por aqui...depois conto mais:)

So, i already went five days on vacation, got back,  had one and a half week of work and next week will have vacations again! Oh yeah, because i hadn't take it all yet ... and these will be even better because it will be two weeks in a row: D

Meanwhile, I have been stitching, of course, because that's something that i'm always willing to do, but i still can't show the project i'm working on, because it will be a surprise, but it's just missing a part of the backstitch ... that stitch which gives a wonderful touch to the work, but that usually drives me a little crazy lol

Also started a new project, as i said in the post of the goals of the month, and that'll show you how it is .. I just can not yet reveal what it will be and who will receive it:)

I admit that i love these colors...i love to stitch with such colorful colors :)

And last week i had one more fantastic surprise in my mailbox...a great goodie from my friends Filipa, who is a sweet :)

I liked so much...of everything!! Since starting unwrapping that beautiful tissue, till saw all those beautiful things! Thanks again my dear friend! :)

I'm missing the "old" mail (or snail mail)...writing litttle letters by hand, go to the post office to buy stamps and envelopes, write the address and leave everything there full of desire that everything arrives to your destination quickly. And also, on occasion, get to my mailbox and see the wonders that friends have sent. :) 

Technology is fantastic, no one can deny it, but nothing comes to a letter on our (physical) mailbox :) 

I'm sending a few more things soon and will not stop here...i'll tell you about it later ;)

Antes de ir ali abaixo apanhar um pouquinho de sol e inaugurar o Guilherme nas idas à praia e piscinas, queria só mostrar-vos umas prendinhas que recebi:)

O Fernando (o bebé mais velho aqui de casa ou o marido, como quiserem:p) ofereceu-me noutro dia esta capa para o telemóvel. Vi-a à venda na Fnac e apaixonei-me...até porque ainda não tinha visto nenhuma à venda aqui em lojas, só na net. Comentei com ele e ele, como sabe que adoro esta bonequinha, foi a correr comprar-ma. Às vezes é um querido:p

A Nia, querida como sempre, enviou-me uma cartinha a inaugurar os seus postalzinhos e envelopes da Gorjuss que lhe dei no aniversário e ainda juntou um cão muito fofo! Obrigada amiga, mais uma vez, pelo teu gesto tão querido:)

E por último uns miminhos que ofereci a mim própria (também é preciso, certo?). Uns botões muito fofos e originais que encontrei numa feira que houve aqui perto e que tinha coisas muito engraçadas :)

E agora vou ali à praia e já venho:) Não será longe nem durante muito tempo, porque o Gui é estreante nestas lides e eu não me arrisquei a ir muitos dias, porque não sei como vai correr lol Por isso no próximo fim-de-semana estou de volta:) E não pensem que se livram de mim, porque levo net comigo eheh

Before going away to catch a little sun and inaugurate William trips to the beach and pools, i just wanted to show you some little gifts I got :)

Fernando (the older baby here at home or husband, as you prefer: p) offered me the other day this cover to my phone. I saw it at a shop and fell in love ... and i just saw it on the net, not on any local stores. I told him, and because he knows how I love this doll, he run to the store and bought it for me. Sometimes he it's a dear: p

On the other hand, Nia, a sweetheart as always, sent me a short letter to inaugurate her little postcards and envelopes from Gorjuss that I gave her on her anniversary ... and also joined a very cute dog! Thank you my friend, once again, for your kindness and friendship!:)

And at last, a few goodies that I offered to myself (we also need it, right?). Some very cute and unique buttons I found in an exhibition that was nearby and who had very funny things :)

And now I'm off to the beach...i'll be back soon :) It will not be for a long time, because it's William first time in these things and I do not know how it will run lol So next weekend i'm back :) And do not think that you will get rid of me because I'll carry internet with me eheh

My First Giveaway:D

Em Março passado este meu cantinho fez um ano de humilde existência :)
Já desde mais nova que de vez em quando fazia ponto cruz, mas chateava-me rápido, não chegava a terminar os trabalhos e tão depressa bordava semanas que nem louca, como de repente me cansava e ficava 2 ou 3 anos sem pegar numa agulha. Devia ser a adolescência e as suas manias :D 
Mas entretanto, no inicio do ano passado, estava já grávida de uns bons 5 meses e comecei a pesquisar blogs de ponto cruz e comecei a entusiasmar-me para voltar a pegar nas linhas. Entretanto, também encontrei o blog da Nia (feliz a hora;)) e ela, sempre muito querida e simpatica, ainda me deu mais entusiasmo para bordar novas coisas e dedicar-me mais a este passatempo.  Além também da minha irmã que tinha começado um blog de crafts pela mesma altura :)
Como na altura, apesar de estar grávida e estar a trabalhar normalmente, até tinha tempo livre ao final do dia e ao fim-de-semana (coisa que agora..pfft...desapareceu lol) resolvi, além de recomeçar a bordar, iniciar-me também no mundo da blogosfera, porque achei que o facto de ter um blog e partilhar trabalhos e ver os das outras meninas nos seus blogs, me iria dar mais alento para continuar sempre a fazer trabalhos novos e a aprender cada vez mais. E assim tem sido!
Durante a gravidez ainda bordei muito (mais babetes e fraldas pois:p) mas mesmo depois, já com o Gui e tudo, não parei de bordar e quase todos os dias o faço um pouco.

Mas, chega de conversa fiada e vamos ao que interessa! Tinha pensado em fazer um giveaway na altura do primeiro aniversário do blog, para comemorar. No entanto, na altura foi passando o tempo e acabei por não fazer. Agora, a pouco mais de um mês de comemorar eu própria o meu aniversário, resolvi comemorar tudo junto: o meu aniversário e o ano e meio do blog! :D
Eu faço anos a 12 de Setembro...o blog começou a 6 de Março e o 2º post (onde mostrei o meu primeiro trabalho) foi exactamente a 12 de Março de 2011. Por isso, a 12 de Setembro de 2012 será o primeiro giveaway do meu blog!:D Yeah :D

E, afinal, que vais oferecer tu Ana Rita? Pois é, ainda não decidi tudo lol E como ainda quero arranjar as prendinhas todas para esta oferta singela, resolvi não colocar foto das prendinhas. Last March my little blog here made an year of ​​a humble existence :)
Ever since i was younger that i occasionally did cross stitch, but it bored me fast, did not actually complete the work and as quickly i was stitcthing for weeks like crazy, as I suddenly got tired and stayed two or three years without picking up a needle. It should be the adolescence and its complications D

But meanwhile, at the beginning of last year, i was already 5 month pregnant and i began to search for blogs about cross stitch and started to excite me to get back to the needles. In the way, i had the lucky of finding Nia's blog and she was always very sweet and friendly to me and gave me more enthusiasm to stitch new things and devote myself more to this hobby. Besides, my sister had started a blog of crafts around the same time and also had encouraged me:)

As at the time, despite being pregnant and being working normally, i still had free time at the end of the day and weekend (which now as ...pfft ...disappeared lol) I decided, besides start to stitch more, also get in the blogosphere world, because I thought that having a blog, share my work and see the other girls works in their blogs, it would give more encouragement to continue always doing new thinks and learn more. And so it has been!
During pregnancy i've stitched a lot (more bibs and diapers, of course :p) but even after giving birth, with William and all, I have not stopped stitching and almost every day I  work a little with my needles:)

But, enough of talk and let's get to business! I had thought about doing a giveaway to celebrate the first blog anniversary, last March. However, time went by and I ended up not doing anything. Now, just over a month I celebrate my own birthday, I decided to celebrate it all together: my birthday and the year and a half of the blog! : D

My birthday is at September 12th ... the blog began at March 6th and the second post i've blogged  (where I showed my first stitches) was exactly at March 12th 2011. Therefore, at September 12th of 2012, it will be the first giveaway on my blog: D Yeah: D


And, after all, what you'll offer, Ana Rita? Well, I have not decided everything yet lol And because i still wnat to prepare everything with time, I decided not to show the picture of the gifts. It is a surprise, ok? But do not worry, it will be a nice surprise :) The gifts will be related, of course, with our cross stitch, as well as accessories and supplies ... and a very funny kit! And a few more  goodies ehehe Even because when I offer something, I always like to go peek some of the favorite things of the person that i'm going to give something, so that she could really like it:) So after i know who wins, i'll put something else in the basquet :)

Olá meninas! :)

Estamos num novo mês, Agosto, pleno verão e é tempo de fazer um balanço dos meus bordados. Não consegui bordar muito, já se sabe, mas mais vale pouco do que nada, certo?:D

Antes do balanço, quero mostrar-vos uma coisinha que bordei para o aniversário da Nia. Não me lembrei de mais nada (nem tenho tempo para pensar muito lol), por isso acabou mesmo por ser um postal.

Vi um desenho, numa das revistas que recebo, de um ratinho com um cupcake. E como sei que ela adora cupcakes, achei que era o ideal.

Entretanto ía fazer o de sempre...colar num postal, mas como andava já a começar a iniciar a minha nova paixão do papel, fui à tal loja maravilhosa que encontrei aqui em Coimbra, e resolvi comprar papel para scrapbooking e colocar o bordado como se fosse numa moldura...para não ir tão simples. Lá também vendem postais em branco e então comprei um já com umas bordas meio onduladas e só cortei o papel ao tamanho ideal e fiz os cantos redondos (também com um novo instrumento que adquiri lol) e deu nisto.

Não é uma coisa do outro mundo, mas deu-me muito prazer fazer e aplicar uma nova técnica para mim..aos poucos pode ser que eu entre no mundo do papel mais a fundo:D

Entretanto, em relação aos objectivos que tinha traçado até ao final de Agosto, ficámos assim:

Objectivos para Junho e Julho:
- preparar tudo para a Summer Exchange do blog da MSherry Lovers Blog e enviar até dia 21!
DONE!
- bordar uma fralda - comecei, mas ainda estou indecisa se vou continuar ou não...depois explico melhor.
- bordar uma surpresa :)   Era o ratinho da Nia :)  
- começar a bordar o summer cat do MS Lovers blog - já escolhi o novo tecido e comecei a dar os primeiros pontos.

Entretanto comecei um novo projecto que vos mostro ainda esta semana. Para este mês, como tenho uma semana de férias pelo meio e não sei se vou conseguir bordar algo nesses dias, não vou ser demasiado ambiciosa...assim sendo:

Objectivos para Agosto:
- terminar o novo projecto
- decidir avançar com a fralda ou passar para um babete
- bordar o summer cat do MS Lovers blog antes que chegue o fim do prazo do gatinho do Outono lol

Hello girls! :)

We are in a new month, August, middle of the summer and it is time to review my goals to the preview month. I could´t stitch much, we know, but better something than nothing, right?: D
Before that, i just want to show you a little something that I stitched for Nia's birthday. I did not remembered anything else (or have time to think too much lol), so it ended up being a postcard.
I saw the drawing in one of the magazines I get, of a little mouse with a cupcake. And as I know she loves cupcakes, I thought it was ideal.

I was going to do the normal, glued in a postcard, but as i was beginning my new passion of paper, I went to that wonderful store that I found here in Coimbra, and decided to buy paper for scrapbooking and put the embroidery as in a frame, just to be a little different from what i usually do. They also sell blank cards and then bought a few, already with wavy edges and just cut the paper the right size and made the round corners (also with a new instrument that i purchase lol) :)
It's not so special, but it gave me great pleasure to make and apply a new technique for me .. slowly I might enter the world of paper more thoroughly: D

Now, in relation to the goals i had set to the end of August, we have:

Goals for June and July: 
- set up everything for Summer Exchange do blog da MSherry Lovers Blog and send it till 21st of June! DONE! 
- stitch a diaper - I started, but I'm still not knowing whether I keep going or not ... i'll explain better later. 
-  stitch a surprise:)   It was little Nia's mouse :)  
- start to stitch summer cat do MS Lovers blog - I've already chosen the new fabric and began to stitch the first stitches

Meanwhile, I've started a new project that I am showing you this week. For this month, as I'll have a few days on vacations,  i don't know if i will be able to stitch anything on that week, so I will not be too ambitious ... thus:

Goals for August:
- Finish the new project
- Decide to proceed with the diaper or switch to a bib
- Stitch the summer MS cat Lovers blog before it reaches the deadline of Autumn cat lol

A new Craft?:D

Finalmente a semana do inferno terminou! Aliás, as últimas têm sido todas assim...ando exausta, sem tempo nem paciência para grande coisa e a dormir pouco, porque o Guilherme não quer saber dos meus horários, pois claro lol

Enfim, já só faltam 2 semanas para eu mudar de ares, ainda que seja só por 5 dias...mas já vai ajudar bastante a que a minha cabeça vá um pouco ao sítio.:)

E com tudo isto, tenho bordado pouco, confesso, porque o tempo não é muito e o cansaço ao final da noite é demais:( Consegui acabar um bordado para oferecer e pouco mais.

No entanto, comprei umas revistas há umas semanas, daquelas inglesas que só consigo achar num certo quiosque (e só têm 1 ou 2 exemplares de cada apenas!) e acho que me estou a apaixonar por mais uma arte: scrapbooking, paper craft e coisas do género, ligadas ao papel! 

 Há coisas lindas de morrer e, pelo que andei a ler (nessas revistas e também na net) esta arte é uma ciência! Tem imenso que se lhe diga, imenso material para comprar e milhares de escolhas, desde papel, canetas, carimbos, furadores, desenhos.....muitaaaa coisa!! Já começo a entrar mais ou menos na mecânica e a começar a entender alguns termos e técnicas mas não é fácil!

Não tenho grande material, mas estou com vontade de tentar, embora haja coisas que não me parecem nada fáceis de fazer. Mas tenho de comprar certas coisas e começar a experimentar ...assim que tiver algum tempo, claro...lá para o ano 2020, talvez!!:p

Ah e entretanto descobri uma loja de paper craft que abriu recentemente cá na cidade, e que acho que é única neste género de coisas, e de cada vez que lá entro dá-me vontade de trazer a loja quase toda..tem tantaaaa coisa linda!! :D (sim, estou a babar-me :P)

Se houver alguém desse lado que goste e se dedique a esta outra arte, diga coisas :D

Comprei também, online, imensos tecidos para bordar...aida e em linho, de diversas cores..lindos e maravilhosos que só apetece bordar neles todos coisas fofas :D

Finally the week from hell is over! Altough the last ones have  been like this one as well ... I've been exhausted with no time or patience for much  and with few hours of sleep, because Guilherme did not want to know about my schedule or my fatigue, of course lol 

Anyway, it's only missing two weeks for me to go away, even if it's  only for 5 days ... but it will help enough to put my head back on track lol

And with all this, I've been stitching very little, I confess, because free time is not much and i'm really tired at the end of the night :(

I managed to finish one of my goals for the month, and not much more.

Meanwhile, I bought some magazines a few weeks ago, those english ones that I can only find in a certain kiosk (and they only have one or two copies of each!) and I think I'm falling in love for another hobby: scrapbooking, craft paper and things linked to paper!

There are beautiful things to die for and from what I've been reading (in these magazines and on the internet) that art is a science! It has a lot to be said, great stuff to buy and thousands of choices, ranging from paper, pens, stamps, punches, drawings....manyyy things! I am beginning to get into more or less on the mechanics and begin to understand some terms and techniques but its not easy!

I do not have much material, but I'm willing to try, although there are things that do not seem easy to do at all. But I have to buy certain things and start experimenting ... as soon as i have some time, of course ... in the year 2020, maybe!: P

Oh and I've found a paper craft store that recently opened here in town, and which I think is unique in this sort of thing, and every time I go there it gives me the will to bring almost the whole store, because it has beautiful things! : D (yes, I'm drooling: P)

If anyone on that side likes this hobby, tell me about it :D

I also bought, online, many fabrics to stitch....aida and linen, of different colors ... beautiful and wonderful fabrics that just feels like start stitching cute things on them!:D

Summer Exchange from MS ✉

Estou a poucas horas de voltar ao trabalho depois de uma semana de férias, o que custa sempre, mas tem que ser, não é? Alguém tem de fazer andar este país para a frente!:D

No entanto, esta volta sempre tem um sabor mais doce porque, além de ter estado de férias durante 1 semana, ainda recebi a minha troca de verão do blog da Margaret Sherry. E a minha troca veio directamente do Brasil, desse país que eu adoro (e onde espero voltar mais vezes!), da querida Simone.

Vejam o que ela me enviou:

Não é lindo este caderno de receitas com a girafa?? E eu adoro girafas!! Muito fofa! E o pormenor de ter escrito em italiano, sabendo que eu adoro a língua (e o país!), "Ricette d'Estate", que significa "Receitas de Verão":) Adorei! E o paninho bordado tão querido, e as linhas e os botões...tudo lindo!

Mais uma vez, muito obrigada Simone!! De coração;)

E uma vez que a troca de verão que eu enviei também já foi recebida pela querida Valérie, também já posso mostrar o que fiz. Resolvi bordar um patinho de férias, já que o tema era o verão ehehe Não sabia bem como o finalizar, mas lembrei-me de o colocar num álbum de fotos, para assim ela poder guardar as suas fotos de verão!:)

E enviei também mais umas coisinhas para dar ainda mais gostinho ao verão:)

Estava tudo muito bonito até eu colar o bordado. Usei uma cola especial que tinha comprado de propósito, mas, não sei porquê, ficou a notar-se :( Lá dizia que era mesmo para tecidos e feltro e assim e que depois de secar desaparecia, mas não. Para a próxima continuo a usar a minha velhinha cola branca, pois com ela nunca aconteceu, mas pronto. Valeu a intenção e a Valérie gostou e isso é que conta :)

Adorei esta troca..venham mais (ouviste, Nia? :D)

I'm a few hours away to return to work after a week of vacation, which is always difficult, but it must be, right? Someone has to make this country go forward: D

However, this return has a sweeter taste because, besides having been on vacation for one week, i still got my summer exchange from Margaret Sherry's blog. And my exchange came directly from Brazil, that country that I love (and where I hope to come back once again!), from the sweet Simone.

Isn't it beautiful this recipes notebook with a giraffe? And I love giraffes! Very cute! And the detail of having written in Italian, because she knows that I love the language (and the country!), "Ricette d'Estate" which means "Summer Recipes" :) I love it! And the embroidered towel so cute, and the threads and buttons ... all beautiful! 

Again, thank you Simone! From my heart;)

And since the summer exchange I sent has already been received by the dear Valérie, now i can also show what I did. I decided to stitch a duck on vacation, since the theme was the summer ehehe I didn't quite know how to finish, but I remembered putting it in a photo album, so she can store her summer photos :) 

I've also sent a few things to give more flavor to summer :)

Everything was quite fine until I glued the embroidery to the photo album. I used a special glue that had bought on purpose, but, I do not know why, we can see the glue under:( The glue said it was special for fabric and felt and that after drying it would disappeared, but no. I'll keep using my little old white glue, because with that,  never happened nothing like this.   

Well, Valérie liked and that's what counts, right? :)

I loved this exchange .. keep more coming (did you heard, Nia? :D)

Olá a todas! Só passei para dar um olá muito rápido e dizer que desde 5a feira passada que não conseguia ligar o computador! 

Tive um fim-de-semana louco, que passou pela celebração do primeiro aniversário do meu Guilherme e que foi mesmo muito bom...ver os nossos amigos todos reunidos a comemorar o primeiro ano de vida do meu príncipe.:)

Depois no domingo fui ver a Madonna que deu um concerto aqui na minha cidade, em Coimbra. Foi fantástico! Aquela mulher (com uns 53 anos muito jovens!!) é extraordinária em palco e o espectáculo que ela traz é qualquer coisa de outro mundo. Foi mesmo muito giro:)

Fica um cheirinho desses 2 acontecimentos do meu fim-de-semana (o primeiro muitoooo mais importante do que o segundo, claro!)

Entretanto hoje seguiu a minha troca de verão do blog da Margaret Sherry. Querida Valma (que era a quem eu tinha de enviar a troca) atrasei-me um pouco, mas ainda deve chegar esta semana...espero que gostes..foi tudo enviado com muito carinho!

Hoje não posso mostrar nenhuma foto porque ainda é surpresa, mas assim que a Valérie receber, eu mostro:)

Entretanto vou passar ao próximo projecto na lista...uma surpresa ;)

Hello to you all girls! I just came to say a quick hello and say that since last thursday that i couldn't managed to turn on my computer! I had a crazy weekend, that it went  through the first anniversary of my William and that was really good ... see our friends all gathered to celebrate the first year of my prince's life. 

Then on Sunday, I went to see Madonna who gave a concert here in my city, Coimbra. It was fantastic! That woman (who has a young 53 years!) is extraordinary on stage and the show that she gave was something from another world. It was really really awsome :)

Here is a taste of these two events of my weekend (the first one muchhhh more important than the second, of course!:D)

Meanwhile today i've sent my parcel from the Margaret Sherry summer exchange. Dear Valma (which was the one I had to send the exchange) i was a little behind, but it should still arrive this week ... hope you like it .. it was sent with lots of love! 

Today I can not show any pictures because it is still a surprise, but as soon as Valérie receive, I'll show :)

Now i will start my next project in my goals list ... a surprise;)

Hello Summer(?)

Realmente anda tudo um bocado louco, incluindo o tempo! Já tivemos dias de 30 graus e agora andamos abaixo dos 20, com chuva e vento...até nos perguntamos se estamos realmente a 1 semana do verão. Não falando que eu já nem sei o que vestir! lol Enfim! Haja alegria:)

Eu bem queria ter postado no início do mês, até para me organizar com os meus novos objectivos do mês e rever os do mês passado, mas se o tempo já era curto para tudo, agora ainda menos! (para verem, estou a escrever isto enquanto o Guilherme se passeia aqui à volta na sala e me tenta roubar o rato e dar palmadas no teclado...estou desconfiada que este post me vai levar uns 3 dias a escrever!)

Bem,  voltando ao cerne da questão....objectivos de Maio...cumpridos ou não?? Vejamos:

Objectivos para Maio:

- terminar de bordar a capa do iphone DONE!

- bordar o gráfico escolhido para a Summer Exchange do blog da MSherry Lovers Blog (foi quase quase terminado!..entretanto já acabei, logo nos primeiros dias de Junho)

Como já estamos praticamente a meio do mês e o meu tempo até meio de Julho vai ser ainda mais limitado, porque ando a preparar o primeiro aniversário do Guilherme e o baptizado dele (com um mês de intervalo!), desta vez vou juntar os objectivos para Junho e Julho, até porque todos eles têm razão de ser nesses meses :) 
Assim sendo,

Objectivos para Junho e Julho:

- preparar tudo para a Summer Exchange do blog da MSherry Lovers Blog e enviar até dia 21!
- bordar uma fralda
- bordar uma surpresa :)
- começar a bordar o summer cat do MS Lovers blog


E como hoje não tenho foto porque ainda não posso mostrar a troca de verão, deixo uma foto do meu mais que tudo, que vos manda um "Papapapa" a todas! (é só ainda o que ele diz mesmo:p)

I think it's all going a little bit crazy, including the weather! We already  had days of 30 degrees and now we are under 20, with rain and wind ... we wonder if we are really one week away of the summer! Not mention that I do not even know what to wear! lol Anyway! Let there be joy :)

Well, I wanted to have posted at the beginning of the month, even to organize myself with my new goals and review the last month goals, but if the time was already short before, in this days is even shorter! (to see, I am writing this while William wanders around the room here and try to steal the mouse and smacking the keyboard ... I'm suspicious that this post will take me about 3 days to write!)

Well, back to the point .... May ... goals achieved? Let's see:

May goals:

- finish stitch iphone cover DONE!!

- stitch the design that i chose for Summer Exchange do blog da MSherry Lovers (it was almost finished! .. meanwhile i finished it, in the early days of June)

Since we are already almost halfway through the month and my time until mid-July will be even more limited, because I'm preparing the first anniversary of William and his christening (with one month apart!), this time I mixed the June and July goals, because they all have reasons to be done in these months :) 
So we have,

 June and July goals:

- Get everything ready for the Summer Exchange MSherry Lovers Blog and post it until June 21st! 
- Sticth a diaper
- Stitch a surprise :)
- Start to stitch the summer cat from MS Lovers blog

And as i don't have any picture of my stitches to show, because I still can not show the one of summer exchange, I leave you a picture of my sweet love. He sends you a "Papapapa" to all! (just about what he says nowadays ..it means: "foodddd!":p)

Iphone cover finished!:D

Finalmente terminei a capa do iphone! :D

Até foi bastante rápido...já a terminei na semana passada, mas o meu tempo está todo tão contadinho que depois o blog é que sobra e acabo por não conseguir cá vir:(

Antes de vos mostrar a capa, tenho de agradecer à minha querida amiga Valma, porque eu andava há meses sem saber o que bordar na capa, até que ela falou no blog dela que também tinha uma para bordar e enviou-me alguns desenhos com as medidas certas e tudo e eu escolhi uma!:D Muito obrigada Valma, pela tua simpatia e disponibilidade de sempre. És uma querida!;)

E, passando ao que interessa, o desenho vencedor foi uma kimmidoll que eu acho tanta graça:) Acabei por escolher esta:

Apesar de gostar do aspecto final fiquei frustrada pq já tinha começado um bom pedaço quando percebi que não está bem centrada! E fiz tantas contas!! Mas a flor no cabelo enganou-me...devia estar 2 quadrados para a esquerda! Mas dá tanto trabalho a rematar e fica tudo tão preso que não tive coragem de desmanchar! Um dia quando me chatear, desmancho e bordo outra coisa...é o bom destas capas eheh

I finally finished the iphone cover! : D

It was kind of fast ... I finished it last week, but my free time is so little that i ended up by not having the enough time to come to my blog.:(

Before i show you the cover, I have to thank my dear friend Valma, because I went for months without knowing what to embroider on the cover, until she spoke in her blog that also had an iphone cover to stitch and sent me some drawings with the right measures and I chose one: D Thank you Valma, by your friendship and helpful as always. You're a sweet:)

So now going to the point, the winning design was a kimmidoll! I find them so funny :)

Although I like the final look I had gotten a little frustrated when I realized that is not well centered! And i counted so many times! But the flower in her hair tricked me ... it should be 2 squares to the left! But it gives so much work to start all again that I do not dare! One day, when i want to see another thing stitched, i start all again :D

Olá meninas:) 

Tinha intenção de aqui vir no fim-de-semana contar-vos da evolução dos meus trabalhos, mas o meu fim-de-semana foi tão agitado que eu mal liguei o computador! E foi cheio de coisas boas!

Começou com uma massagem a 2, que eu tinha oferecido no passado dia dos namorados ao marido e que só agora conseguimos ir fazer. E que bem que soube, meninas! Estava mesmo a precisar!

E depois o domingo, que além de ter sido passado em família, que é sempre muito bom, ainda tive uma alegria imensa no futebol! Sim, eu gosto imenso de futebol:D

O clube do meu coração, e da minha cidade, a Académica de Coimbra, ganhou a taça de Portugal! Ainda por cima contra um clube, teoricamente, superior. Mas a Briosa (também assim carinhosamente chamada) bateu-se do inicio ao fim do jogo, com sangue, suor e lágrimas, e mereceu ganhar! Não ganhava este prémio há 73 anos!! Não imaginam a loucura que estava Coimbra!! Estavam milhares de pessoas na rua a festejar! E esperámos todos pacientemente à porta da câmara municipal, que os nossos jogadores, chegassem da capital, onde foram jogar, para serem recebidos como heróis que foram! E eu estava lá! (graças ao marido que ficou de olho no meu Guilherme, que já dormia:p)

Cheguei a casa quase ás 2h da manhã, dormi muito pouco e ainda ando meia zombie, mas valeu cada minuto porque foi uma emoção fantástica e que não sei se viveremos tão cedo!

Desculpem lá chatear-vos ( e perdoem-me as minhas amigas portuguesas sportinguistas!) mas hoje só queria mesmo partilhar esta alegria convosco! Fica aqui um cheirinho do que se viveu naquela noite e que vai ficar para sempre no meu coração :')

Hello girls :)

I intended to come here on the weekend to tell you about the evolution of my work, but my weekend was so busy that I barely turned on my computer! And it was full of good things!:)

It started with a massage for 2, that I offered my husband last Valentine's Day and only now we managed to go. And it was sooo good! I really needed!

And then Sunday, which besides having been passed with my family, that its always very good, i still had a great joy in football! Yes, I really like football: D

The club of my heart and my city, Academica de Coimbra, won the Portugal cup! On top of this it was against a team theoretically higher. But Briosa (also affectionately called like this) fought from start to finish the game with blood, sweat and tears, and deserved to win! We did not earn this award since 73 years ago! 

You can not imagine the madness that was Coimbra on Sunday! There were thousands of people partying in the streets! And everyone waited patiently at the door of the city council, our players, reached from the capital, where they were playing, to be received as heroes! And I was there! (thanks to my husband who kept an eye on my William, who was already asleep: p)

I came home almost 2 am, slept very little and i'm still feeling half zombie, but it was worth every minute because it was a great thrill and I do not know whether we will live something like this soon!

Sorry about bugging you with footbal (and forgive me my Portuguese friends that were from the other team!) but i really wanted to share this joy with you! Here is a taste of what i experienced that night and that will stay forever in my heart: ')
