Christmas review :)

Olá meninas! :)
E, antes de mais, e como primeiro post do ano, nunca é tarde para vos desejar um fantástico 2013!!
Fui desejando em alguns blogs pelos quais tenho passado, mas se ainda não cheguei a todos, fica já aqui este desejo...que seja um ano cheio de saúde, alegria, crafts, criatividade e, acima de tudo, muita amizade! :)

Como sabem, nos últimos meses virei-me mais para a minha nova paixão, o scrapbooking, daí que na época de natal as (poucas) coisinhas que fiz para algumas amigas foram dessa arte...basicamente, fiz postais (e alguns pormenores em embrulhos) que enviei para vários lados do mundo. :)
E é isso que hoje vos quero mostrar...tenham em mente que sou nova nisto, portanto foram bem simples....mas não imaginam como ficou a minha mesa de trabalho no final...um caos!! :P

Não foram coisas complicadas, mas deram-me imenso prazer a fazer! Tenho este ano todo para aperfeiçoar e aprender novas técnicas. Não esquecendo nunca o ponto cruz!
Por acaso, ando com saudades de bordar...tanto assim é que desde o inicio do ano que peguei no pai natal do SAL do blog da Margaret Sherry fãs que ainda me faltava fazer (de 2011!) e está quase no final!:)
No inicio de dezembro ainda comecei a bordar uma rena muito fofa que era suposto virar um enfeite de natal, mas acabei por bordar pouco (a falta de tempo!:()e só a terminei em janeiro lol Estes 2 bordados de natal já vão ficar para finalizar neste próximo natal ehehe

Ainda vos quero mostrar umas coisinhas que fiz em mais uns workshops em dezembro, mas fica para um próximo post para não vos cansar muito ehhe

And first and foremost, and as this is the first post of the year, it is never too late to wish you a fantastic 2013!
I've been wishing on some blogs which i have passed by, but i still didn't went to everyone, so it's a good place to say it :) And i reall wish you all a year full of health, joy, crafts, creativity, and above all, great friendship! :)

As you know, in the latest months, I've turned over more to my new passion, the scrapbooking. That's why that in the Christmas season the (few) little things I did for some friends were from this art ... basically i made christmas post​​cards (and some details on envelopes and packages) that I've sent to a few places around the world :)
And that's what I want to show you today ... keep in mind that I'm new at this, so they were pretty simple .... but you don't even imagine how my desk was in the end of all this handwork... chaos! : P

It weren't complicated things, but they gave me great pleasure to do! I have this whole year to improve and learn new techniques. Never forgetting the cross stitch, of course!
As a matter of fact, i've been missing cross stitching ... so much that since the beginning of the year that i've started the Santa from the SAL#2 of Margaret Sherry Blog (from 2011!) and i'm almost finishing it! :)
In early December i even began to stitch a very cute reindeer that was supposed to turn into a Christmas ornament, but I ended up not stitching much (lack of time!: () and just finished in January lol These 2 Christmas stitchings will already be to finalize this next Christmas ehehe

Still want to show you a few things I've done in a few workshops that i had in December, but it will be to a next post, because i don't want to bother you much more ehehe

Almost in the end of another year...

Eu prometi que ainda aqui voltava para vos desejar um feliz natal, mas não consegui :( Foram dias muito agitados até ao dia de natal...acho que estive uns 5 dias sem ligar o computador, o que para mim é muito tempo! Mas entre compras de últimas horas, preparativos para o natal e o trabalho, restou-me tempo para dormir...e pouco!
Ainda por cima tanto a consoada como o almoço de natal foram aqui em casa, por isso imaginam o trabalho doméstico por aqui. Acho que finalmente já não tenho louça para lavar desses dias! lol

De qualquer forma, espero que tenham tido todas um natal fantástico...com muita saúde e muitos sorrisos e alegria entre os que amam :)

Entretanto quero-vos mostrar umas lembrancinhas muito fofas que chegaram aqui a casa até ao natal.:)
Começo pela amiga Simone (que foi a ordem pela qual os recebi:)) que enviou um postal handmade muito fofo. Obrigada querida, mais uma vez :)

Entretanto, foi a vez da Francesca, que faz parte do blog da Margaret Sherry fãs :) Obrigada mais uma vez! Tudo muito lindo! Aquele calendário da Toscana, a minha região favorita de um país que adoro...Itália :) ..vai ficar na minha secretária o ano todo para eu sonhar que estou de volta a Itália :)

E bem pertinho do dia de natal recebo a coisa mais fofa da Nia...uma bonequinha linda e delicada com umas cores que eu adoro:) Obrigada linda, mais uma vez, pelo tempo que dedicaste a fazer-me uma prendinha tão linda:)

Antes que cá não consiga voltar antes do final do ano, quero-vos desejar já uma fantástica passagem de ano e um excelente 2013!! Que o novo ano vos traga tudo de bom!:)

I promised I would still come back here to wish you a Merry Christmas, but i couldn't(Those days were very agitated until Christmas day ... I think I was about 5 days without turning on my computer, which for me is a long time! But between last hours purchases, preparations for Christmas and work, i had left time to sleep ... and very few!
On top of everything, both lunch and Christmas eve were here at home, so imagine the housework around here. I think i finally do not have to any dishes to wash from those days! lol

Anyway, I hope you had all a fantastic Christmas ... with health, much happiness and many smiles among those who you love :)

Then it was Francesca turn, who is part of the Margaret Sherry fan blog :) Thanks again my dear! All very beautiful! That calendar of Tuscany, my favorite region of a country that I love... Italy ... :) It'll be at my desk all year so i can dream that I'm back to Italy :)

And very close to Christmas day I get the cutest thing from Nia ... a beautiful and delicate doll with some colors that I adore...just beautiful :) Thanks, again, specially for the time you dedicated to do me such great gift! :)

Before that i can't return here before the end of the year, I wish you have a fantastic New Year's eve and a great 2013! May the new year bring you all the best :)

Christmas Exchange :)

E estamos quase no natal...apenas mais uma semana e 2 dias! Não imaginam como estou atrasada em relação aos meus postais de natal e umas coisinhas mais que queria fazer para oferecer, mas estou a ver a coisa mal parada.
Ando tão cansada do trabalho e de tudo o resto que ser mãe e mulher requer, que no final do dia não tenho tido energia para nada :( Por acaso ando mais cansada que o normal, mas espero que seja apenas uma fase de menos energia e que o novo ano me traga mais força fisica! :p

Ainda nem a árvore de natal fiz, imaginem. Comprei uma pequenina para colocar em cima do aparador, porque tenho receio que fazendo a minha gigante habitual, o Guilherme ma coloque ao chão antes de eu conseguir colocar a primeira bola lol Portanto optei por uma pequenina e longe dele. Para o ano que sempre terá mais um anito e será mais crescidinho, faço a verdadeira árvore de natal. Este ano ele ainda não entende nada mesmo lol

Mas mesmo ainda não sendo natal aqui por casa, já parece porque recebi vários miminhos pelo correio esta semana!
Começou pelo pacotinho do meu pai natal secreto da troca de natal do blog da Margaret Sherry Lovers...e quem era o meu amigo secreto?? A amiga Noni!! :) Directamente da Austrália! :)

Enviou-me um pacotinho cheio de coisas lindas, lindas... Começo pelo enfeite de natal fofissimo e que será um dos poucos a ter lugar na minha pequena árvore:) (a foto já é do enfeite pendurado na árvore, mas a árvore ainda está vazia..só a coloquei ainda de pé mesmo lol)

E depois uns miminhos super giros, incluindo coisinhas para usar no scrapbooking, pois a Noni leu que eu me estava a iniciar nesta arte:)

Ali à esquerda são tipo uns autocolantes ou os chamados die-toppers para se colocar em postais ou no que se quiser e do lado direito dentro daquela caixinha são montes de papelinhos em forma de árvore de natal, renas e outros e até mini ponpons também para se usar em postais e afins. Muito giro! :)

Obrigada querida Noni, mais uma vez...adorei tudo!! :)

E já que falo na troca de natal do blog, aproveito para mostrar o enfeite que eu fiz para enviar à minha parceira secreta que era a Amber, do Canadá :)

A verdadeira prova em como consegui dominar a máquina de costura...não sem alguma luta antes, claro lol
Também fiz o meu primeiro postal para juntar à troquinha...é uma estreia, portanto dêem o devido desconto! (pormenor também do envelope)

Acho que a Amber gostou e isso é o que importa:)

And we're almost at Christmas ... just one more week and 2 days! You can not imagine how I'm behind my Christmas cards and a few more things I wanted to do to offer, but I'm so tired from work and everything else that requires from being a mother and wife, that at the end of the day I have had no energy for anything:( As a matter of fact, i'm more tired than usual, but hopefully it's just a phase of less energy and the new year will bring me more physical strength!: p

I dind't do the Christmas tree yet, imagine. I bought a little one to put on the top of my sideboard, because I am afraid that doing my usual giant tree, William will let her down before I could put the first ornament lol So I went for a little one and away from him. Next year he will have one more year and will be more grown up, and then i will do a real Christmas tree. This year he still does not understand anything anyway lol

But altough it's not Christmas time yet around here, it seems because I received several letters in the mail this week!
It started by the parcel from my secret santa from the Christmas Exchange of Margaret Sherry Lovers blog... and who was my secret friend? ? The sweet Noni!:) Directly from Australia! :)

She sent me a package full of beautiful things, beautiful ...
Starting with the cutest Christmas Ornament which will be one of the few to take place in my little tree :) (the picture was taken with the ornament already in the tree, but the tree is still empty ... i just put it on her feet lol)

And then several cute things, including little bits and pieces to use in scrapbooking, because Noni read that I was starting on this art :)
At the left are some stickers or the so called die-toppers to put on postcards or in what you want and at right, inside that box, are lots of bits (i don't know exactly what to call them in english) in several shapes, like Christmas trees, reindeer and other ones, even mini ponpons to also use on cards and so. Very cute! :)
Thanks again, dear Noni ... I loved everything! :)

And speaking about Christmas Exchange, i also want to show you the ornament I made to send to my secret partner who was Amber, from Canada :)
The true proof as i managed to dominate my sewing machine....not without some fights before, of course lol
I also did my first scrapbooking postcard to send with the exchange...it's a first, so be nice :D (little detail also from the envelop)
I thing Amber liked it, and that's what matters :)

I received a few more letters, but i will tell you about in my next post...before Christmas, i promise!

Sewing Time :)

Meninas, digam-me para onde vai tempo que eu não faço a mínima ideia! O que eu sei é que estamos quase no natal e no final do ano e ainda não fiz metade do que queria fazer para o natal!

Entretanto tenho algumas coisas que fiz nuns workshops da tal loja que já vos falei e que vos queria mostrar.
Hoje é dia de costura :D No mês passado tivémos um workshop de costura que incluía noções básicas de como trabalhar com a máquina de costura e depois a realização de uma capa para um caderno em tecido.
Estava muito entusiasmada com este workshop porque só tive uma aula básica sobre costura há uns meses e já não me lembrava de quase nada.

Portanto, aqui fica a minha criação desse dia...com tecidos Tilda que foram escolhidos para nós, pois faziam parte de um kit que cada uma recebeu (até porque se tivesse sido eu a escolher, tinha escolhido outra cor para o fecho:p) (desculpem o tecido estar um pouco engelhado:/)

Adorei este workshop, porque acho que finalmente me entendi com a minha máquina de costura! Pelo menos uns dias mais tarde tive um encontro a sós com ela (o primeiro...de muitos, espero:p) e consegui entender-me! Não sem antes andar quase à pancada com ela, mas lá nos entendemos...e adorei costurar! Preciso de tentar fazer mais coisas! Falta-me é o tempo!:(
E foi fundamental para conseguir finalizar o meu enfeite para a troca de natal do blog da Margaret Sherry fãs. Assim que souber que a minha troca foi recebida, mostro aqui o que fiz :)

Girls, tell me where time goes because I do not have a clue! What I do know is that we are almost at Christmas and at the end of the year and I have not done half of what I wanted to do for Christmas!

However, I have some things I did in some of the workshops in that store I have told you about and that i want to show you.
Today is sewing time: D Last month we had a workshop that included some basics notions about the sewing machine and then sew a fabric cover for a notebook. I was very excited about this workshop because I only had one class on basic sewing machine a few months ago and could not remember almost anything.

So here is my creation in that day ... it was made with Tilda fabrics that were chosen for us because they were part of a kit that each one received (btw, if it was my choice, i had chosen another color for the closure: p )
(I'm sorry the wrinkled tissue :/)

I loved this workshop because I think I finally got it with my sewing machine! At least a couple of days later I met alone with her (the first of many "dates" ... I hope: p) and i could understand her! Not before we almost got in a few fights, but we got them trough:p... and i loved to sew! I need to try to do more things! If i only had the time!:(
And it was essential to finalize my christmas exchange from the Margaret Sherry fan blog. As soon as i know that my exchange was received, i will show it here :)

A butterfly that flew away :)

Terminei há umas semanas atrás um bordado em que vos tinha mostrado apenas o inicio e as cores...era uma borboleta bem colorida. Entretanto acabei-o e transformei-o num postal que foi enviado para o Brasil, para a amiga Simone, como prova do meu agradecimento pela troca de verão que fizémos no blog da Margaret Sherry Lovers e em que ela me enviou um caderno de receitas muito fofo :)
Foi apenas um miminho e um modo de dizer muito obrigada:)

E há uns dias atrás terminei a troca de natal desse mesmo blog, mas como é tudo mantido em segredo até cada uma ir recebendo, ainda não vos posso mostrar :)

Entretanto, vou magicar mais umas ideias de Natal neste fim-de-semana e ter mais um workshop :D

I finished a few weeks ago a stitch that I had shown you only the beginning and the colors ... it was a very colorful butterfly. Meanwhile I ended it and turned it into a postcard that was sent to Brazil, to my friend Simone, as a proof of my gratitude for the summer exchange that we made on the Margaret Sherry Lovers Blog in which she sent me a very cute recipes book :)
It was just a treat and a way of saying thank you :)

A few days ago I finished the Christmas Exchange gift from this same blog, but as everything is kept a secret for now, i can't show you yet:)

Meanwhile I will work on some more ideas for Christmas this weekend and have another workshop: D

My first sizzix project :D

Tenho feito alguns workshops numa loja recente que abriu em Coimbra com material para scrapbook e tudo o mais para trabalhar com papel. Como já aqui disse antes, a loja é uma perdição e eu cada vez que lá entro venho mais pobre mas muito feliz lol A sério, só de entrar e olhar em volta sentimo-nos felizes porque tem coisas lindas, lindas!
A empregada da loja é uma brasileira super querida que, por coincidência, foi minha colega nas aulas de italiano que tive no ano passado. E as donas, que são 3 irmãs, são também umas queridas, por isso já criamos alguns "laços" e é ainda melhor ir à loja :)

Elas começaram a fazer vários workshops e eu e a minha irmã já fomos a 3 e já não vamos conseguir parar! Além das coisas que fazemos lá serem muito giras e aprendermos bastante com elas, o ambiente é também excelente e de alegre convívio, por isso temos lá passado belas tardes :)

O primeiro workshop que fizémos foi uma "Sizzix Night" que vai, inclusivé, acontecer sempre todos os meses. :)
Consiste em cada uma levar a sua sizzix e fazermos um projecto que elas entretanto pensaram. Foi muito giro, até porque eu e a minha irmã ainda nem tínhamos usado a máquina!! É um vicio aquela máquina e dá para fazer coisas tão lindas!!
O projecto consistia em levar 3 fotos à nossa escolha e decorar uma tela ao nosso gosto, usando os imensos cortantes que elas disponibilizavam e papel decorado.
E isto foi o que saiu das minhas mãos naquela noite.

Não é nada de especial, mas para primeiro projecto feito a utilizar a máquina e estas técnicas acho que ficou fofo! Já está no quarto do Guilherme! ehehe

Pena não ter tempo suficiente para me dedicar a todas as artes!! Quando for velhinha talvez já tenha tempo lol

I have done some workshops at a shop that recently opened here in Coimbra that sells material to scrapbooking and everything else to work with paper. As I have said here before, the store is a doom and every time I go there I get more poor but very happy. lol Seriously, if i just enter in the store and look around i already feel very happy because they have beautiful things, beautiful!

The employee of the store is a super sweet Brazilian who, coincidentally, was my colleague in Italian classes that I had last year. And the owners, who are 3 sisters, are also very sweet, so we've created some "ties" and it's even better to go to the store :)

They started doing various workshops and my sister and I already went to 3 and now we will not be able to stop! Besides the things we do there that are very cute and we learn a lot from them, the atmosphere is also excellent and joyful living, so we have spent great afternoons there :)

The first workshop that we made was a "Sizzix Night" that it will happen every month.:)
It consists of each one bring your Sizzix and doing a project that they already decided it. It was really cool, because my sister and I had not even used the machine yet! That machine it is an addiction and you can make such beautiful things with her!

The project was to take 3 pictures of our choice and decorate a screen in our own way, using the immense die cuts that they provided with patterned paper.
And this was what came out of my hands that night.

It's nothing special, but for the first project done using the machine and those techniques i think its cute! It's already in William's room! ehehe

It's a pity that i can't get enough time to dedicate to all my arts! Maybe when i'm an old ladie lol

Demorei imenso tempo a bordar esta fralda. Não é que seja difícil ou grande o projecto, mas fui fazendo outras coisas ao mesmo tempo e também calhou em alturas que o tempo livre era ainda menos e foi ficando. Mas não devia porque já o devia ter enviado à Filipa há muito tempo! Desculpa amiga, mas mais vale tarde que nunca!:p

As cores originais do bordado são em azul, mas como não achei nenhuma fralda com o debruado em azul e também acho que a Filipa gosta da cor laranja (sei que o quarto do filhote é também nesses tons), mudei para a cor laranja:) Não está perfeito, mas acho que ficou fofinho.

Espero que o Gustavo goste:D É só uma recordaçãozinha...bordada com muito carinho!:)
Entretanto o giveaway, nem de propósito, calhou à Filipa! Por isso, aproveitei e, além da fraldinha, juntei o giveaway que ela ganhou! E como vos prometi fotos do que escolhi, aqui ficam também!:)

It took me a long time to sew this diaper. It is not that difficult or a big project, but I was doing other things at the same time and also happened that free time was even less. But it should't because I should have sent to the Filipa a long time ago! Sorry my friend, but better late than never!:p
The original colors of the design are in blue, but as I did not found any diaper trimmed with blue and also thought that Filipa likes the orange color (I know the baby's room is also in these tones), i changed to orange :) It's not perfect, but I think it turned cute.
I hope Gustavo likes it. It's just a little gift, stitched with love :)
Meanwhile, it was Filipa herself that won the giveaway. So, I took and beyond the diaper, also joined the giveaway that she won! And as I promised you pictures of what I chose, here are they:)

Birthday Gifts #2

Já lá vai mais de um mês desde que fiz anos, mas ainda vos quero mostrar umas prendas maravilhosas que recebi!
Começo pela do meu maridão, porque foi a primeira que recebi...um ipad :D Eu já tinha decidido comprar um, mas ele fez-me a surpresa :) Dá-me um jeitão! :)
Depois a prenda dos meus pais, mas que teve a mão do marido e da minha irmã, pois eles é que lhes deram a ideia para os meus pais me oferecerem, já que eles não sabiam o que dar. E que rica ideia!:D

Uma Sizzix!! Vocês sabem que sou nova neste novo passatempo, mas gostava mesmo de ter uma máquina destas, até porque ela dá para fazer tantas coisas! Até mesmo com tecidos e aplicar com os bordados!;)
Outra prenda maravilhosa foi (ou foram!) a da minha irmã. Começou com uns livros que me vão dar um jeitão.

E depois, dentro de uma caixa muito fofa, um mundo de coisas maravilhosas! :')

It's been over a month since my birthday, but i still want to show you some of the great gifts that i received that day!
Starting with the one my hubby gave me, because it was the first one i received....an ipad!:D I had already decided to buy one, but he made me the surprise.:) It helps me a lot!
Then the one from my parents, that it was my husband and sister idea, because my parents didn't knew what to give me. And what a great idea!:D
A Sizzix!! You know that i'm a newbie at this hobby, but i really wanted to have one of this, because we can do so many things with her! Even with fabric and with my stitches!;)
Another wonderful gift was (or were!) from my sister. It began with some books that will help me a lot.
And then, inside of a very cute box, some wonderful things!:')
It isn't all too beautiful?? I loved it so much! Thanks again sis...you're the best*

A new baby

O tempo escasseia muito por aqui, mas quero-vos mostrar rapidamente um bonequinho que vou oferecer ao meu mais recente primo que agora já tem quase 3 semanas. Ainda não o conheci, mas está para breve e decidi dar-lhe um miminho feito por mim...espero que a mãe dele goste :)
Como a Nia tem sempre grandes ideias e é sempre uma inspiração para mim, quando vi um post dela em que bordou uns bonequinhos da DMC para oferecer a uns bebés, achei logo que era uma óptima alternativa às fraldas e babetes bordados que tenho feito. Desconhecia tais bonecos, mas assim que fui à minha retrosaria habitual, vi-os logo à venda e não resisti.:)

Acho que ficou fofo! Mais uma vez, Nia, "roubei-te" a ideia das estrelinhas à volta! Dei a volta às minhas revistas para ver como bordava e que toque dava, mas depois de muito pesquisar, percebi que as estrelinhas ainda eram o mais simples e bonito. Espero que o Eduardo Miguel daqui a uns anos ache fofo:)

Time is not running much over here, but I want to quickly show you a little plush animal that I will offer to my newest cousin who is now almost 3 weeks old. I don't know him yet, but i'll shortly and i decided to give him a little present made ​​by me ... i hope his mother will like :)
As Nia has always such good ideas and is such a inspiration for me, when i saw her post about a little plush animals from DMC to offer to some babies, i thought that it was a great alternative to the diapers and bibs that i always stitch and offer to new babies :) I dind't knew this animals, but when i went to my usual store, i saw them and couldn't resist :)

I think it's cute! Again, Nia, i've "stole" you the idea of sparklers around it! I went around of my magazines to have some ideas to stitch something around the letter, but after much searching, I realized that the little stars were still the most simple and beautiful thing to stitch.
I hope Eduardo Miguel in a few years will find it cute:)

Birthday Gifts #1

Estou muito atrasada a mostrar algumas das minhas maravilhosas prendas de aniversário...e não devia, porque as amigas que mas ofereceram mereciam que eu já as tivesse mostrado! Mas o meu tempo livre tem sido muito complicado....tem dado para dormir e pouco!

Uns 3 dias antes do dia dos meus anos recebi um pacote mistério da Valérie...fiquei logo em pulgas, mas ela colocou lá um aviso muito específico:

E eu lá tive que me aguentar até dia 12! eheheMas valeu muito a espera...não imaginam as maravilhas que ela me enviou...cada vez que abria uma coisinha só fazia "ohhhh..."...vejam só:

Coisas lindas, lindas!! É uma coisa mais fofa que a outra! Adorei o postal ehehe Ela sabe que gosto muito destas bonecas e então ofereceu-me várias coisinhas com ela. E como se não bastasse tudo isto, ainda me oferece uma coisa para a qual não há palavras...la piece de resistance...pasmem...

Não é linda esta bolsinha?? Amei! E o tempo que ela não deve ter demorado a bordar?? Muito mesmo, porque as bonequinhas são grandes!!Amiga, adorei tudo, tudo...tanto que nem consigo expressar o suficiente ou agradecer-te o bastante! Muito obrigada pela tua amizade :)

I am very late to show some of my wonderful birthday gifts ... and i should not, because the friends who offered me deserved that i already had show them! But my free time has been very little ... i've been managing to sleep a little every night and not much more!

A few days before my birthday i receveid a mistery package from Valérie, who made me very excited, but she put it a very specific note...:p

And there I had to hold me until the 12th! ehehe But it was so worth the wait ... you can't imagine the wonders that she sent me ... every time I opened something i just went "ohhhh ..."...just take a look..

Beautiful, beautiful things! One thing more beautiful than the other! Loved the postcard ehehe She knows that I like a lot these dolls and then offered me various little things with her.And as if all this were not enough, she still offers me something for which there are no words ... la piece de resistance ...

Isn't this bag gorgeous?? Loved it! And the time that she should not have taken stitching it? A lot, i'm sure, because the dolls are big!My dear friend, loved everything, everything ... so much that I can not express enough or thank you enough! Thank you for your friendship...from my heart:)
