2013 in Cross Stitch :)

Confesso que nunca fui de fazer balanços no final do ano nem traçar objectivos no inicio de um novo. Não sei porquê, mas nunca o fiz.

Mas já desde há 1 ano ou 2 que o faço em relação a projectos das minhas artes manuais. Aliás, vou actualizando essa lista ao longo do ano:) Até porque com tanta coisa que me apetece fazer e ideias que vou tendo, se não for fazendo listas, às tantas perco o fio à meada (literalmente ahah)

Portanto, hoje é dia de fazer o balanço de 2013 em termos de cruzinhas:D

Não foi um grande ano no sentido de ter feito muitas peças...acho que fiz menos do que no ano anterior, mas teve muito a ver com o Guilherme, claro. Quanto mais crescido ele fica, mais tempo e atenção requer, portanto menos tempo livre sobra para estes meus hobbies. Mas não me importo nada, claro, porque o meu tempo com ele é o melhor:)

Também é verdade que como me apaixonei pelo scrapbook em final de 2012, 2013 foi o ano em que fiz bastantes coisinhas nessa área e isso também "rouba" tempo às cruzinhas. Mas temos de ir combinando artes, certo?:)

Antes de vos mostrar o flashback, quero partilhar algumas peças que ainda não tinha mostrado, pois umas foram feitas apenas agora no natal e outras foram de trocas do blog da Margaret Sherry Lovers e ainda não tinha conseguido colocar aqui.

Esta é a troca de natal do blog da MS Lovers enviado para a Judith. Achei este pai natal e rena muito fofos:)

Esta foi a Prendinha de natal para a Valérie com um bordado de um pai natal que achei super fofo colocado numa moldura de estrela..acho que ficou giro:)

E esta foi a Prendinha de natal para a Annette com um dos gordinhos da LK que tinha acabado de bordar e que se transformou num ornamento de natal:)

Este pai natal era do SAL#2 do blog da MS Lovers e tinha terminado de o bordar no inicio de 2013 e ainda não tinha tido um final decente. Foi também transformado em peça de decoração de natal directamente para as mãos da Verónica (a cujas mãos, aliás, só chegou depois do natal devido a um problema de moradas, mas ainda a tempo do natal deste ano lol :p)

Aproveito para mostrar o local final do meu SODA do último post (o qual agradeço a todas os comentários tão queridos sobre ele)...mais um para o meu quarto:) Quando o coloquei na parede percebi que deveria ser um quadro um pouco maior para aquele local, mas quando fizer outro maior, substituo e coloco este noutro sitio:)

Fica, então,uma imagem com as peças todas que bordei este ano....as 2 últimas já estão na peça finalizada, uma vez que nem tive tempo de tirar foto apenas ao bordado:)

Tenho também vários trabalhos de scrapbook feitos em 2013 que também quero colocar aqui para a "posterioridade" (incluindo um que fiz para uma troca também do blog da MS Lovers), mas esses ficam para outro post....cada macaco no seu galho ahah

I confess that i don't usually do balances at the end of a year or set goals at the beginning of a new one. Not sure why, but never did .

But for 1 or 2 years now, that i usually do it, about my crafts. Actually i keep updating this list through the year :) Especially because with so much that i want to do and ideas that i keep having , if i don't make lists, i end up very lost ehehe

So today is the day to have a flashback about 2013 in cross stitch matters :)

It wasn't a very great year relating to cross stitch, because i didn't do many new pieces ... i think i did less than the previous year, but had a lot to do with Guillerme, of course . The more grown up he gets, the more time and attention he requires, therefore less free time to spare with my hobbies. But i'm not compaining at all, of course, because my time with him is the best :)

It is also true that as i fall in love with scrapbooking in late 2012, 2013 was the year that i made quite a few little things in that area and that also " steals " time to the stitches. But we have to do a little of both the arts, right? :)

Before showing you the flashback, i want to share some pieces that had not shown you yet, because some were made just now at Christmas and other were exchanges from Margaret Sherry Lovers blog and still hand't the time to show you.

This is the Christmas Exchange from MS Lovers blog that i've sent to Judith. I found this Santa Claus and reindeer too cute :)

And this is the whole exchange:)

This was a little christmas present  for Valérie with a stitch from a little santa that i thought it was too cute and which i put in a frame star .. i think he turned sweet :)

And this is the little christmas present for Annette with one of the little fat men from LK which i just  had stitched and it became a Christmas ornament :)

This was Santa from SAL # 2 MS Lovers Blog that i had finished at the beginning of 2013 and still hadn't a "decent" finish. It also turned ​​into a Christmas ornament directly into the hands of Veronica (to whose hands , moreover , only arrived after Christmas due to a address problem, but still in time for Christmas this year lol : p )

I also take this opportunity to show you he final location of my SODA from last post (which I thank you all the comments so sweet about it ) ... one more for my room :) 
When i puted on the wall i realized that a slightly bigger picture to that location would be nicer , but when i find something bigger for that spot, i will put this somewhere else :)

Then is an image with all the pieces that i've stitched this year .... the last 2 are already in the finished piece, since i hadn't time to take a picture just from the fabric stitched :)

I also have several scrapbook projects that i've made ​​in 2013 that i also want to put in here for " posterity " (including one that i also made ​​for an exchange of MS Lovers Blog ) , but i will show them in another post .... each monkey in your branch ahah

Meninas, espero que tenham tido todas um excelente natal...rodeadas da familia e de todos os que vos são queridos:)

Por aqui, entre muito trabalho e barulho, o natal passou-se e foi muito bom:) Foi a primeira vez que falámos do Pai Natal ao Gui e fizémos de conta que tinha sido ele a colocar as prendas todas na árvore (até fizémos o barulho de sininhos a tocar quando ele desceu para a sala e dissémos que era o pai natal a ir embora:p) e foi o máximo ver a carinha dele de felicidade quando entrou na sala e viu os presentes todos.....e a abrir os embrulhos cheio de alegria..muito giro:)

Agora aproxima-se o final do ano a passos largos e eu ainda nem sei como será o meu...apenas que até às 10h da noite estarei a trabalhar, portanto o mais certo é passar a meia noite a dormir lol

Antes de fechar o ano queria-vos mostrar o meu último projecto de ponto cruz que fiz este ano. Queria-o ter colocado primeiro numa moldura e mostrar-vos assim, mas não tive ainda tempo, por isso mostro-vos ao natural:)

Gostei tanto de o bordar..nem sei bem porquê...acho que principalmente das cores...e mesmo não sendo muito grande, acabei-o rápido. Agora estou prestes a escolher outro para começar:)

No último post esqueci-me de vos mostrar a minha coroa de natal que coloquei na porta de entrada...já a fiz no ano passado, mas só a estreei este ano:)

E quero-vos mostrar mais 2 postais super fofos que recebi mesmo nas vésperas do natal, de amigas muito queridas:) Obrigada meninas!:)

Girls , i hope you all had a great christmas ... surrounded by your family and all your loved ones :)

Here, between hard work and noise (the good one:)), christmas happened and it was very good :) It was the first time we spoke about Santa to Guilherme and we have put the presents under the christmas tree without him see it and then we brought him back and told him that Santa had left all of those presents (we even put little bells sound when he was coming down, and told him it was Santa leaving)...his face was priceless...so cute...he was almost in shock lol and he opened the packages full of joy .. very cute :)

Now approaching the end of the year i still do not know how will be my .. i just know that i'll be working until 10pm at night, so most likely i'll be sleeping at midnight lol

Before closing the year i want to show you my latest cross stitch project that i finished last month and the last one of the year. I wanted to put it in a frame and show you like that, but i had not enough time yet , so i 'll show you "au natural" :)

So here's my first SODA ! :) )

I enjoyed so much doing this design .. not sure why ... I think mostly because of the vibrant colors ... and although it's not small, i did it fast . Now I'm about to choose another SODA to start :)

In the last post i forgot to show you my Christmas wreath that i put in the doorway ... I did it last year , but just used it this year :)

And i want to show you 2 more super cute cards that i've received just close to Christmas by very dear friends :) Thank you girls :)

Um mês sem postar aqui nada!! Acho que atingi o meu recorde....que vergonha! Desculpem meninas! Mas a culpa é mesmo do natal!! Aliás...nem é bem do natal...é da vida no geral que não deixa grande tempo para prepararmos o natal com calma :( Por isso é que tenho aproveitado todos os meus (poucos) momentos livres...finais de noite e as sestas do Gui ao fim-de-semana, para fazer umas coisinhas para as amigas e família no natal....não terminei tudo, mas ainda tenho uns dias :D

Não vos posso mostrar nada pois está tudo ainda em "trânsito"!:D Mas assim que começarem a chegar aos destinos, vou mostrando.;)

Por acaso tem-me dado muito prazer fazer estas coisinhas todas, pois até tenho praticado algumas técnicas e é sempre bom...isso e dar uso ao imenso material que tenho (e aproveitar a "desculpa" para comprar mais algum lol)

Ando é com saudades do meu ponto cruz, mas assim que a época das festas passar, começo Janeiro em grande no ponto cruz!:D Tenho, aliás, um projecto terminado, mas mostro-vos numa próxima...para ver se entretanto lhe consigo dar o final que quero e mostrar já prontinho:D

Hoje aproveito para vos mostrar umas coisas que recebi de amigas queridas aqui da blogosfera e que ainda não tinha conseguido mostrar! (Shame on me!)
Começo por uma troquinha de scrapbooking que eu e a Verónica resolvemos fazer e, apesar de ela própria achar que não (e é mentira!), enviou-me coisas muito fofas!! Ora vejam:)

Depois é a vez da querida Annette que mal soube que eu fiz anos fez questão de me enviar um postalzinho muito querido e uma boneca de feltro super fofa com a minha cor preferida! Obrigada mais uma vez querida:)

E mostro-vos já o meu primeiro postal de natal recebido há uns dias da querida Valérie! E ainda juntou uns autocolantes que vão dar muito jeito no meu scrap:)) Obrigada!!:)

Entretanto, como as crianças fazem milagres, este foi o primeiro ano na minha vida que fiz a árvore de natal no dia 1 de Dezembro! (normalmente fazia-a lá para dia 22 ou 23:p).

Tudo por causa do Guilherme, claro. Este ano, já entende um pouco mais do que se passa (embora ainda não entenda bem o significado"real" do natal) e acha imensa graça ao pai natal, às arvores, às luzinhas e tudo isso. E então foi muito giro fazer com ele a árvore, ajudou a colocar as bolas e enfeites e delirou quando ligámos as luzes:)) Eu que não sou grande fã da época, consegui render-me a ela este ano por "culpa" dele :)

Bem e como não acho que consiga voltar aqui com tempo antes do dia 24, vou aproveitar para vos desejar um fantástico natal a todas, junto da vossa família, com tudo de bom, acima de tudo com muita saúde e alegria que é o que é preciso...nesta época e no ano todo!

One month without posting anything here! I think I hit my record .... shame on me! Sorry girls ! But blame it on christmas ! Well, it's not quite christmas fault but life in general that leaves no time to prepare Christmas calmly : ( That's why i've spent all my ( few) spare moments at night and during Gui's naps in the weekend, trying to do a few things to give friends and family at christmas ... i've not finished everything yet but still have a few days left: D

I still can't show you anything because everything is still in "transit " : D But once they begin to reach the destinations , i'll show ;)

As a matter of fact, it has given me much pleasure to do all these little things, even because i have been practicing some techniques and its always good ... and really using the immense stash that have ( to then have an " excuse " to buy some more lol )

But i've been missing my cross stitch, but once the holiday season passes, i'll begin a new cross stitch project : D I have, a finished project , but i'll show you soon , so i can give it a decent finish meanwhile and show to you all ready :D

Today i want to show you some stuff i got from my dear friends here from the blogosphere that i still didn't been able to show you! (Shame on me!)

I will start with a scrapbooking swap that i did with Veronica in September, and although she didn't think so(and it is a lie!), she sent me very cute things! See for yourself! :)

Then its dear Annette's turn. As soon as she heard that it was my birthday, she made sure to send me a very dear little postcard and a super cute little felt doll in my favorite color! Thanks again sweetie :))

And as it's almost christmas, i also want to show you first Christmas postcard that i've received a few days ago from the beloved Valérie! And she even sent me a few cute stickers that will do great in my christmas projects:)) Thank you my dear!:)

As children really do miracles, this was the first year in my life that i've made ​​the Christmas tree on December 1! ( usually it's made around 22 or 23 : p ) .

All because of William , of course . This year he already understand a little more of whats going on around (although doesn't fully understand the "real " meaning of Christmas yet) and finds so much fun to Santa, christmas trees, christmas lights and all that. So it was really cool to do the tree with him! He helped to put the balls and tinsel and he raved when we turned on the lights :) And me, that i 'm not a big fan of this season , i have to surrender to it this year and he is the one to "blame" :)

Well and because i think i'll not came back here with time before the 24th , i'll just wish you all a fantastic christmas, together with your family and loved ones,and i wish you, above all, much health and joy that is what we all really need ... at this time and through the whole year!

Já estamos quase no final do ano, já participei em 2 trocas no blog da Margaret Sherry fãs (estou a caminho da última troca, aliás) e ainda nem uma mostrei aqui no meu cantinho! Aliás, tenho várias coisas para vos mostrar que fiz nos últimos tempos, mas, para variar, o tempo escasseia!

Então, a primeira troca foi em Julho passado. A primeira em que eu participei, pois como não sou grande fã da Páscoa, saltei essa:D

A troca de Julho tinha o nome de Blogversary Exchange e era um tema livre, que eu gosto sempre muito, pois sempre há mais gráficos por onde escolher:) 

Nunca arrisco, para as trocas, bordar algo muito grande pois como tenho tempo limitado (quem não tem nos dias que correm, certo?), não quero correr riscos de me atrasar.

Sempre gostei muito deste gráfico que escolhi....no tamanho certo e super fofo! Não demorei muito a bordá-lo e gostei imenso de o fazer e ver nascer este porquinho espinho lindo:)

Como já todas estão (cansadas) de saber, sempre que posso, tento juntar as minhas 2 paixões dos crafts....o ponto cruz e o paper craft:) Desta vez optei por decorar uma caixinha de cartão prensada, mesmo própria do scrap para decorarmos como quisermos e que ainda por cima tinha uma abertura no meio, ideal para colocar o meu bordado:)

Não é que seja dificil de fazer, mas deu-me alguma luta nas medições e tal para que saísse o mais perfeita possível! Aqui estão algumas fases da "construção":D

E este foi o resultado final....por fora e por dentro!

Acham que ficou gira? Eu até gostei bastante do resultado final...ainda bem que existem estas trocas porque tem sido com elas que eu vou experimentando coisas novas no scrapbooking e sou "obrigada" a pensar e ter ideias para tentar sair algo diferente:)

E a menina que a recebeu também acho que gostou e isso é o que importa:)

  We're almost at the end of the year, I have joined in 2 exchanges on Margaret Sherry lovers fans blog (i'm on my way on the last one, in fact) and i still haven't show any of them here in my little corner! In fact, I have several things to show you that I've done in recent times, but, for a change, i'm running out of time!
  
  
  So, the first Exchange was last July. The first in which I participated, because as I'm not a big fan of Easter, i've jumped this one :D 
  
  
  The July Exchange was the Blogversary one and it was a free theme, which I always like a lot because there's always much more graphics to choose from:)
• For exchanges i never choose any big design, because I have limited time (who doesn't these days, right?), and I don't want to take any chances of being late in dead line.
  
  
  I've always been very fond of this graphic that i chose...it's the right size and super cute! It didn't take to long to stitch it and I really liked to do it and see this little beautiful porcupine turn "real" :)

As  you all know , whenever i can , i try to join my two craft passions.... the cross stitch and paper craft :) This time i chose to decorate a chipboard box, which are very popular among scrapbookers to we decorate as we want, and this one had a hole in the middle, ideal to put my stitch :)

It's not that hard to do, but it gave me some fight in measurements and so to turn out as perfect as possible ! Here are a few stages of  the"building process " : D

And this was the result .... outside and inside!

Do you like it? I was quite happy with the result ... thank goodness for these exchanges, because they "oblige" me to try new things in scrapbooking and i'm " forced " to think and have ideas to try out something different :)

And i think the girl who received also liked it and that's what matters :)

Meanwhile, these days i'm finishing the christmas exchange, so then i can begin to think seriously on Christmas :)

Olá meninas! Tenho andado tão desaparecida e tão em falta com algumas de vós...seja em blogs para ler, emails para responder e até actualizar este meu cantinho, mas o tempo tem sido muito escasso mesmo, no meio do trabalho, do filho que esteve doente e da falta de sono também!

Mas pelo menos tenho continuado com os meus projectos, tanto de ponto cruz, como de papercraft:) A minha troca do Halloween do blog da MS também já seguiu e assim que for recebida, partilho convosco aqui.

Hoje trago-vos mais uma peça que terminei...um dos gordinhos dos "6 Fat men" da Lizzie Kate! Este ganhei num giveaway da querida Nia e apaixonei-me logo por ele:) Aliás, adoro montes de designs da LK...cores fantásticas e desenhos muito fofos:) 

Já o terminei no mês passado e agora está a aguardar um final decente...e para breve pois já não falta muito para o natal;)

E como acho excelente a ideia de passarmos estes presentes que as amigas nos oferecem, resolvi continuar a deixar viajar este gordinho simpático e vou também sorteá-lo num giveaway aqui no blog, à semelhança do que a Nia fez;)

Hello girls ! I've been so away from here and from some of you ... whether on blogs to read , emails to answer and even update this blog , but the time has been very scarce, in the middle of work , the child that was sick and also lack of sleep!

But, at least, i have continued with my projects, as in cross stitching as in papercraft :) 

My halloween Exchange from the MS blog has also followed to his destiny and when it is received , i'll share with you here .

Today i bring you another piece ... I finished one of the fatties from " 6 Fat Men " by Lizzie Kate! This one i won in a giveaway from dear Nia and i fell in love with him right away :) 

In fact , i love lots of LK designs... fantastic colors and very cute designs :)

I've already finished it last month and is now waiting for a decent finish ... and it will be soon because christmas is just around the corner ;)

And because i think that's a fantastic idea to trade these gifts that our friends give us , i decided to continue to let this little friend to travel and i will also give him away in a Giveaway that i will do here in the blog, like Nia did ;)

So, girls , who want to be lucky enough to have him in your home soon , just coment on this post! On October 31st,  i will draw it, and let him move quickly on to one of you in time to be able to stitch it for Christmas if you want :)

I also can not resist to share with you another project i did in paperscrap . This time was a tag for an exchange in a scrap forum that we do every month. I decided to try some paints techniques and i kind liked it the result:)

Ainda o outono mal assentou e eu já ando deprimida com a chegada dele! Não sou mesmo fã da chuva, dos dias cinzentos e do frio. Por mim era verão o ano inteiro com a maior parte dos dias cheios de sol...vá, deixava chover uns dias para poder regar os campos e tal, mas a maioria dos dias teria de ser sol! 

É que o verão chegou atrasado...o outono também devia vir mais tarde.:(

E depois é aquela altura do ano que eu nunca sei o que vestir de manhã, porque dentro das casas ainda está muito calor, mas na rua está vento e chuva...enfim...é o que temos:p

Dilemas meteorológicos à parte, hoje venho mostrar-vos o meu SAL#4 do blog da Margaret Sherry lovers. Como podem ver pelo link (isto para as meninas que não conhecem;)) o SAL é um quadro cheio de cães super fofos. No entanto, eu optei por bordar apenas o cão central. E não estou a infringir as regras, pois elas diziam que podíamos bordar o que quiséssemos:)
A principal razão foi mesmo por não ter muito tempo para bordar tudo, pois tenho muitos gráficos em linha de espera e com o chegar do natal também quero fazer umas coisinhas com tempo, além do que não tinha assim nenhum sitio onde se enquadrasse colocar o quadro completo, portanto optei por bordar apenas um cãozinho. Ainda não sei o que será a peça final, mas depois conto:)

Entretanto, estou na recta final de terminar a troca do Halloween do mesmo site....ainda não posso mostrar, claro, mas só espero que a minha parceira goste!

The Autumn is not yet really here and i'm already depressed about his arrival! I'm really not a fan of the rain, the cold and gray days. For me it was summer all year long with sunny days most of the time... ok, i would let rain a few days to be able to irrigate fields and so, but most of days would be sunshine!
The Summer came late this year... fall too should come later.:(
And then it's that time of year that I never know what to wear in the morning, because inside the houses is still very hot, but outside is wind and rain ... oh well ... is what we have: p

Weather tragedies aside, today i want to show you my SAL # 4 from Margaret Sherry lovers Blog. As you can see by the link (for the girls who do not know;)) this SAL is a frame full of super cute dogs. However, I chose to stitch only the central dog. And I'm not breaking the rules, because they said that we could stitch whatever we wanted :)
The main reason was lack of time to stitch all of them, because i have many designs that are on the waiting line and christmas is almost there and i also want to do a few things with time, beyond that i do not have a place where to put the whole frame, so I chose to stitch just a puppy. Still do not know what will be the final piece, but when i do, i will tell you :)

Meanwhile, i am finishing Halloween Exchange from the same site .... still can not show you anything, of course, because its  secret, but i just hope my partner likes it!

I have one more finish stitch to show you, but it is for another post!

Birthday & Friendship = Hapiness :')

No passado dia 12 foi o meu aniversário e, como acho que é do conhecimento geral, eu adoro fazer anos!:D (mesmo aproximando-me a passos largos dos 40:p)

O dia começou da melhor maneira...sem trabalhar! (eu recuso-me a trabalhar no dia do meu aniversário:p) 

O Gui ainda estava a recuperar de uma virose que teve e passou a manhã a dormitar mais o pai e aproveitei e fui ter com a minha irmã para tomarmos o pequeno-almoço juntas...e sozinhas...coisa bem rara ultimamente! Foi mto bom!:)

Quando voltei para casa foi hora de abrir 2 pacotinhos que me tinham chegado no dia anterior e que me estavam a causar muita surpresa! E foram mesmo as minhas primeiras prendas do dia!

A primeira (e sem ordem especial!) chegou da linda cidade berço de Portugal, Guimarães, da querida Nia!

Imaginem...um kit de mais uma linda Gorjuss!! Ainda por cima adivinhou que esta era uma das minhas preferidas!! Amei! E com um laço fofissimo! E acompanhada de um lindo postal da mesma bonequinha. Obrigada amiga! Não tarda começo mais uma bonequinha e graças a tiii:))

De seguida, directamente de França, da querida Valérie, um presente lindooooo! Aliás, vários!! O principal foi uma linda caixinha toda pintada à mão pelo marido que é muito talentoso nestas artes!! Ele sabe que eu gosto desta boneca e resolveu pintá-la para mim numa linda caixinha! Não ficou um amor??

E como se não bastasse, a caixinha vinha recheada de coisinhas super fofas!! (adoro aquelas peças de madeira...vão ficar lindas no meu scrap!) E ainda enviou mais umas linhas da DMC de linho! Eu desconhecia que existiam e ela foi uma querida e enviou-me estas todas para eu experimentar! E mais uns autocolantes que também vão dar um jeitão no meu scrap! E ainda um bloquinho muito fofo e um postalzinho lindo escrito numa caligrafia maravilhosa e cheia de amizade!! Obrigada por tudo, amiga! A ti e ao maridão que foi um querido em oferecer-me uma coisa tão linda!! :) Não tenho palavras suficientes para agradecer!!:')

Fui mesmo muito mimada por estas 2 amigas lindas!
E, mais tarde, também o fui pela minha familia, com quem passei uma noite fantástica!

Aqui o maridão da casa ainda me ofereceu uma Cinch, que é uma máquina de encadernação para utilizar nos meus projectos de scrap que eu já andava a namorar há meses e que é maravilhosa!! Ninguém me pára agora a fazer álbuns ahaha
E, por fim (mas não em último!) ainda recebi (além de um estojo lindoooo da Gorjuss!) um álbum maravilhoso feito pela minha mana (em tempo recorde!) onde ela juntou fotos desde que éramos bebés até aos dias de hoje...amei!! ♥
Não posso mostrar as páginas todas pois há lá fotos minhas que deviam ser proibidas sequer de existir (lol) mas deixo-vos 2 páginas muito especiais:')

Ah e estas 2 pessoas tão especiais da minha vida ainda me surpreenderam com um fantástico bolo de aniversário! Vejam só!

Para quem não reconhece...é uma sizzix! Uma máquina que corta papel (e não só) das mais variadas formas e feitios e que é uma das minhas ferramentas preferidas do scrapbook:)
E agora, descubram as diferenças! ahaha

Enfim, tive um dia fantástico, rodeado de pessoas especiais e que me fazem acreditar que tudo é possível, desde que os tenha sempre ao meu lado!! :)
E obrigada a vocês também por estarem desse lado;)

On the past 12th it was my birthday and as I think we all know , i always love my birthday : D (even approaching dangerously of the forthy: p)
The day started in the best way ... without working ! (I refuse to work on my birthday :p)
Guilherme was still recovering from a virus that he had for a whole week, so he and his father spent the morning sleeping on sofa and i could have breakfast with my sister ...just the 2 of us ... something very rare these days ! It was very good :)
When I got home it was time to open 2 parcels that had arrived the day before and that were causing me much surprise ! And they were my first gifts of the day !

The first (and in no particular order!) arrived from the beautiful city, birthplace of Portugal , Guimarães , from dear Nia !
Imagine ... a kit of another beautiful Gorjuss! Moreover she guessed that this was one of my favorites! Loved it! And with a super cute bow! Accompanied by a beautiful postcard of the same doll . Thank you my dear friend! Soon i will start another Gorjuss and thanks to youuu :) )

Then, directly from France, dear Valérie, a beautiful gift! In fact, several! The main one was a beautiful box all painted by hand by her Hubby who is very talented in these arts ! He knows I like this doll and decided to paint it for me in a beautiful box ! Isn't it the cutest thing??
And on top of it , the box came filled with super cute little things! (I love those pieces of wood... will be beautiful on my scrap:p ) And she also sent me a few linen threads from DMC! I did not know that they existed and she was a sweetheart and sent me all of these for me to try and i look forward to it!! Also sent me a few stickers that will be very handy on my scrapbook! And a a little lovely notebook and a beautiiful postcard whith such a wonderful calligraphy and full of friendship! Thanks for everything, my friend! To you and to Hubby who was a dear to offer me something so beautiful! :) I do not have enough words to thank you both!

I was really spoiled by these two beautiful friends! And later, also was by my family, with whom i spent a fantastic evening!
My Hubby even offered me a Cinch (a bindery machine) to use in my scrap projects! I was already dating this for months and it is wonderful ! Nobody stops me now doing albums ahaha
And last (but not least!) still got (plus a pencil case of the beautiful Gorjuss!) an scrapbook album made ​​by my wonderful sister (in record time!) where she joined photos since we were babies up to today . Just loved it..! ♥
I can not show all the pages because there are pictures of me that should be prohibited from even exist ( lol ) but I leave you two very special pages from a lovely album : ' )

Oh...and these 2 special peoples from my life, had surprised me whith a fantastic birthday cake!! Look it!!
For those who don't know what it is, it's a Sizzix! A machine that cuts paper (and other materials) in many different shapes and its one of my favourite tools from scrapbooking:)
And now...look for the differences! ahaha

Anyway, I had a fantastic day, and surrounded by special people that makes me believe that anything is possible, since i always have them by my side ! :)
And thank you too for being on that side too ;)

My girls is ready for the school year!:D

Quase que acabava o mês sem vos mostrar a minha menina Gorjuss que já terminei em Julho! 

Isto realmente de estar sem o nosso computador há mais de 6 meses, baralha-nos o sistema todo! Sou muito organizada com as minhas coisas e no meu pc tenho tudo ordenado, incluindo os vossos blogs para visitar, fotos, listas e tudo o mais e então ver-me sem isso, ando meia desorientada. 

Às vezes quero postar algo e lembro-me que tenho as fotos no meu computador! Enfim...ah e entretanto também fiquei sem telemóvel! Primeiro parti o visor, depois as pessoas deixaram de me ouvir quando me ligavam. Eu ouvia, mas ninguém me ouvia. Conclusão.. estou há 1 semana sem telemóvel e com a previsão de o mais certo é não ter arranjo! Enfim...ando cheia de sorte!

Tristezas tecnológicas à parte...adiante! :p

Pois é..como vos contei....2 anos depois de a começar, finalmente a terminei! eheh

Claro que nestes 2 anos peguei-lhe mais só nos últimos meses. Confesso que bordar uma Gorjuss tanto me deslumbrava como me assustava, de grande que é e de tantos pormenores que tem. Mas lá fui bordando e confesso que gostei imenso e quero muito voltar a bordar outra. Mas para a próxima terá de ser muito mais perfeita, pois esta tem imensas imperfeições. E uma das mais visivéis é mesmo o facto de ter puxado demasiado pelo fio quando fazia o ponto linear na cabecinha dela. Bordar com linhas metálicas dá-me muita luta. E eu até tenho a cera que as torna mais maleáveis, mas mesmo assim costumo suar bastante a bordar com elas! lol E como foi a primeira vez que as usei, não ficou perfeito...mas pronto...vivendo e aprendendo, certo??

Já a coloquei numa moldura que comprei há uns bons meses no IKEA já a pensar nela:) Coloquei-a em cima da cómoda do meu quarto. Sendo o meu quarto preto, branco e vermelho acho que encaixa bem. E assim posso vê-la todos os dias. :) (Quando fizer uma bem perfeitinha, ponho-a à vista de todos lol)

Agora vou escolher a próxima! :D

August is almost over and i still didn't showed you my Gorjuss girl, which i already finished in July!
Being without my computer for over 6 months is really messing everything up! I'm very organized with my stuff on my pc and i have everything in order, including your blogs to visit and things to do, photos, lists and everything else and being so long without it, makes me crazy and disoriented!
Sometimes i want to post something and i remember that i have the pictures on my computer! Oh...and because everything can go even wronger, i'm with no phone! First i broke the display, then people stopped to listen to me when I called them. I listened, but nobody listened to me. Conclusion .. one week without phone and they say that probably it has no possible fixing. Wonderful, don't you think? Lucky girl i am:p

Technological sorrows aside ... ahead! : p

So, like I told you .... 2 years after starting,  i finally finished her! eheh
Of course over these 2 years, i only have serious stitched it in the last few months. I confess that stitch a Gorjuss always dazzled me as much scared me, because they are beautiful and big and with so many details. But i did it and i confess that i liked a lot and i really want to stitch another one. But next time she will be much more perfect, because this one has some flaws. And one of the most visible it was due to the fact that i've pulled the thread from the backstitch too much in her little head. Stitching with metallic threads gives me a lot of fighting. And i even have the wax to make it softer, but i sweat a lot when i stitch with them anyway! lol And as it was the first time i used them, it was not perfect ... but ok ... live and learn, right?

I already have put her in a frame that i bought a few months ago in IKEA, already thinking about her :) I put it above the dresser in my bedroom. Being my room black, white and red I think it fits well. And so i see her every day. :) (when i stitch a perfect one, i will put her where everyone can see her lol)

Now i will choose the next girl to stitch! :D

Olá meninas! :) Voltei há 3 dias do Algarve, onde estive uma semana com o maridão e o Gui e também com os meus pais e irmã que se juntaram a nós durante 3 dias.
Foi muito bom e o Gui adorou...ainda estava na praia se fosse por ele. Aprendeu muitas palavras novas nesta semana com todo aquele estímulo e novidade. É uma fase fantástica esta, a dos 2 anos...são todas, mas esta como é o inicio da fala e da comunicação connosco, é o máximo...todos os dias há novidades:)

Bem e eu fui de férias com o meu bordado actual para terminar e mais um novo para começar...conclusão....não peguei nem um minuto em nada!! Só dava para bordar à noite, mas como o Gui dormia, obviamente, no nosso quarto, tínhamos que ter a luz apagada ou apenas uma luz muito ténue que dava, no máximo, para ler e não muito tempo, pois fazia doer os olhos. Portanto, nada de bordados:(
Não faz mal...em 3 dias já bordei um pouco e também já fiz scrap! Há tempo para tudo, certo?:)

Hoje quero-vos mostrar uns postais que fiz ultimamente. O primeiro foi para a Nia, no seu aniversário. Enviei-lhe também uns miminhos da Gorjuss (que eu adoro tanto que também tive de comprar para mim ahaha) mas o verdadeiro presente dela ainda não está terminado, acreditam?? Quase 3 semanas depois! Ai ai...mas a "coisa" teve alguns problemas técnicos e tal....mas está quase! Só espero que valha a pena a espera!!

 (estou viciada na minha máquina de fazer envelopes...as possibilidades são endless!)

Depois foi o maridão a fazer anos e, finalmente, fiz-lhe um postal! lol Desde que me iniciei no scrapbooking que ainda não lhe tinha feito nenhum, à excepcção de um layout numa tela no dia do pai (também vos mostrei aqui), portanto desta vez teve direito a postal. Cheguei à conclusão que tenho pouco material para fazer postais para homens!! lol Ainda levou com um bonequito...mas ele não achou que fosse demasiado fofo ahah

No ponto cruz continuo com o meu w.i.p. de momento que é o SAL#4 do blog da Margaret Sherry....estou prestes a terminá-lo.

Neste momento está bem mais avançado do que nesta foto que já foi tirada há uns dias...logo vos mostro o final, pois está mesmo quase:)

E entretanto, comecei ontem um bordado novo (ás vezes gosto de variar entre 2 trabalhos) ...alguém adivinha o que será? eheheh

Hello girls! :) I came back 3 days ago from Algarve, where I was for a whole week with hubby and Guilherme and also with my parents and sister that have joined us for 3 days.

It was a great week and little Gui loved it... if it was for him, we were still on the beach! He had learned many new words this week with all that stimulation and everything new around him. This is a fantastic stage, the 2 years old... they all are, but this one as it's the beginning of speech and communication with us, is just amazing ... every day there are new things :)

Well and i went on holiday with my latest sticthes to finish and a new one to start... and the thing was that i didn't do a simple stitch! As i only could stitch at evening, but as guilherme slept, obviously, in our room, we had to have the lights off or just a very faint light that at the most i could read and not for too long because it hurt my eyes. Therefore, no stitching for a week: ( 

But that's ok ... in these last 3 days I've stitched a bit and have also made some scrapbooking! There's time for everything, right? :)

Today I want to show you some cards i've made lately. The first one was to Nia, for her birthday. I also sent her some goodies from Gorjuss (which i also love so much that i also had to buy to me ahaha) but the true gift it is not finished yet, can you believe it? Almost three weeks later! Ai ai ... but the "thing" had some technical problems and so .... but is almost done! I just hope it will worth the wait!

Then was hubby's birthday and i finally made ​​him a postcard! lol Since i've started in scrapbooking that i had not yet done him any card, just a layout on a screen on father's day (that i've ahd also shown you here), so this time he had the right to a card just for him lol. And i got to the conclusion that i do not have many stuff for making boy's postcards! lol I still had to put a little doll ... but he did not think it was too much cute ahah

In cross stitch i keep going with my w.i.p., which is the SAL # 4 from the Margaret Sherry blog .... I am about to finish it.

It is far more advanced than in this photo that was taken a few days ago... i'll show you soon the final result, because it's almost done:)

And yesterday i've started a new work (sometimes I like to vary between 2 works) ... will someone guest what it is? ehehe
