Jingles SAL May Update

Desta vez não consegui fazer este post ainda em Maio...mês complicado este! Mas vou fingir que ainda é 31 de Maio:D  Por isso....
This time i couldn't make this post still in May...very complicated month! But i'll pretend that we are still on 31st of May :D So...

Ora já estamos naquela altura do mês....pois é, o update do nosso Jingles!:)

Confesso que este mês, em ponto cruz, foi tudo o que eu fiz...o bloquinho de Maio. 

Terminei-o rápido e, mais uma vez, adorei bordá-lo:)

So there we are in that time of the month...that's right, our Jingles update!:)

I confess that, this month, this block was everything that i stitched. I finished very quickly and, once again, i loved it:)

Vamos então agora às meninas que entretanto também já mostraram o seu update nos seus blogs!

Começamos pela Annette que também terminou (e não Annette, eu não li a parte do post em que tinhas acabado de o terminar eheheh). Aqui fica o bloquinho dela, muito fofo, mesmo de pernas para o ar ahahah E leiam o post dela que, como sempre, é um prazer ler :)

Let's start by Annette that also had finished (and no Annette, i didn't read that part of your post in which you said that you had just finished it eheheh). Here it is her May block, very sweet, even upside down ahahah And read her post which is, as always, a pleasure to read :)

E parece que não há grande novidades das outras meninas :(

No incio do mês a Noni fez um update do seu segundo bloquinho que aqui fica. Provavelmente também se atrasou, como eu! lol Mas, se for preciso, faço mais um update durante o mês de Junho :)

And it seems that there isn't big news from the other girls :(
In the beggining of the month, Noni made a little update of her second block, which you can see it here. Probably she is also a little late, like i am! lol But, meanwhile, i can make another update post in the middle of the month, if i see some news :)

Tenham uma excelente semana e um fantástico mês de Junho que, além de ser o inicio do verão (espero eu!) é também o mês de aniversário do meu Guilherme! Adoro Junho :))

Jingles SAL March Update! :)

Ora estamos no final do mês e final do mês, entre outras coisas, é sinal de fazer um update do nosso SAL Jingles e saber qual o avanço deste nosso bordado entre as meninas! :)

Começando por euzinha, tenho a dizer que mesmo com o meu projecto secreto (e que entretanto já deixou de ser secreto, mas isso é tema para o próximo post!;)), consegui terminar o bloco de Março bem antes do mês terminar...nem sei bem como lol 

Não me canso de dizer que as cores deste bordado são fantásticas, o que ainda dá mais vontade de bordar!

Pelo que vi das meninas que se inscreveram no SAL poucas ainda se manifestaram sobre o SAL...se calhar até já desistiram lol 

Sei que a Noni está prestes prestes a começar, pois juntou-se à pouco a nós, o que nos deixou bem felizes! :) Não tarda está a mostrar o seu bordado também:)

E a outra abelhinha trabalhadora deste nosso SAL é a querida Annette que não perdoa e já terminou há uns bons dias o bloco do mês:)

So we are at the end of month and the end of the month, among other things, is time of an update of our SAL Jingles and know the progress of it among the girls! :) 

Starting with myself, i have to say that even with my secret project (and which has now ceased to be secret, but that's a topic for the next post;)), i managed to finish the March block well before the month is over .. . hardly know how i did it lol

I never get tired of telling how this design has fantastic colours, which gives even more desire to stitch it! 

From what i saw about the girls who joined our SAL, very few even spoke about it ... maybe even some of them have given up lol 

I know that Noni is about to begin, as she joined us lately, which made us very happy! :) Soon enough she is showing her stitches too :) 

And another little working bee of our SAL is our dear Annette, who also finished her march block a few days before the end of the month:)

Jingles SAL February Update!

E a passar poucos minutos da meia noite do primeiro dia do mês de Março, venho-vos mostrar um update do Jingles!

No final deste primeiro mês (fevereiro), este é o aspecto no momento!

Consegui terminar o primeiro bloco e ficar a meio do segundo, o que, tendo em conta que comecei no dia 15 de fevereiro, não é nada mau! 

Vou terminar o segundo nos próximos dias, mas depois o bloquinho do mês de Março será feito só para o final do mês, pois entretanto tenho em mãos um projecto (meio secreto:p) e vou precisar de me focar nele quase exclusivamente :D Mas depois compenso rapidamente o atraso! ;)

E agora quero ver os vossos pontinhos meninas! Fui espreitar os blogs das meninas que estão a participar, mas tirando a Annette, que também está focadissima, ainda não houve mais novidades! Espero no final deste mês ver mais avanços...afinal também ainda é só o primeiro mês:))

And a few minutes after midnight of the first of March, i came to show you my update on Jingles SAL!

In the end of the month (Fevereiro), this is how it looks!

I managed to finish the first block and get into the half of the second one, which, taking into account that i started on February 15, is not too bad! 

I will finish second block in the up coming days, but then the March block will have to wait till the end of the month, because meanwhile i have a project in hands (kind of secret: p) and i need to focus on it almost exclusively: D But then i quickly will make up for the delay! ;) 

And now i want to see your stitches, girls! 

I've been looking the blogs of the girls who are participating, but besides Annette, who is working hard on it, there aren't more news:( I hope i will see more progress in the end of this month...it would be great... after all is only the first month :))

Como disse a todas por email, não há grandes regras! O objectivo principal é todas nos divertirmos a bordar este gráfico fantástico!:)

Uma vez por mês (no mínimo) irei postar aqui sobre o SAL e deixarei os links do blog de cada uma das meninas que o está a bordar para que todas possamos ir espreitar o avanço de cada uma e tornar a coisa mais dinâmica:)

Na barra lateral aqui do meu blog está também a lista de todas com respectivos links para os blogs.

Se por acaso alguma de vós não quiser ter o link directo para o seu blog, é só avisar-me, sim?

E pronto...estão abertas oficialmente as "hostes" para começarmos todas a dar à agulha (algumas sei que já começaram!):))

As said by email to all, there are no specific rules! The main objective is to all of us have fun stitching this fantastic graphic :)

Once a month (at least ) i'll post here about the SAL and will let the blog links for each of the girls that is stitching this, so we can all go peek and see the progress of each one, so we make this more dynamic :)

Here In the sidebar of my blog is also a list of all of us with links to each one blog .

If by any chance some of you do not want to have the direct link to your blog , just let me know , ok?

I've been waiting to my threads to come , because i chose to stitch with the original threads of the chart, the Weeks Dye Works ( WDW ) threads , and since they arrived yesterday , i'll start tonight!

A meio do ano passado decidi que iria fazer um SAL comigo própria, basicamente, desafiar-me a mim mesma :)

O gráfico escolhido foi muito “culpa” da querida Nia que mostrou no seu blog a recente saída, na altura, de um novo design da Lizzie Kate. Na altura,confesso, ainda conhecia pouco dos seus trabalhos, mas fui pesquisar e acabei apaixonada pelos gráficos dela! Super fofos e com cores alegres que faziam logo ter vontade de os bordar (sempre adorei bordar cores vivas:))

Quando a Nia nos mostrou o “Jingles”, eu apaixonei-me pelo desenho e decidi que era aquele que eu iria bordar! Como são 12 bloquinhos, o giro era bordar um por mês até ao natal, altura em que estaria pronto a decorar a casa para a época!

Pois, mas eu pensei isto em finais de Junho e, mesmo assim (super confiante), resolvi comprar os 6 primeiros blocos do gráfico, na esperança de os bordar em 3 meses e depois os outros 6 em mais 3 meses e talvez conseguisse acabar antes do natal! 

Mas depressa caí em mim e tive de ser realista e dizer a mim própria que não, "não irás nunca na vida terminar antes do final do ano, com tanta coisa mais que ainda queres fazer" (álbuns de scrap à mistura que levam bastante tempo).

Portanto decidi, na altura, que esse gráfico, seria o meu principal objectivo de 2014 em termos de ponto cruz! Quero bordar mais coisas, claro (aliás, já comecei!), mas este será o meu grande SAL do ano e espero conseguir terminá-lo a tempo…espero não, irei conseguir!! :D

Entretanto, fui sempre conversando sobre isto com a Nia e ela também sempre mostrou interesse em bordá-lo, afinal, até foi ela que mo deu a descobrir! E neste inicio de ano, mais emails trocados e concluímos que iríamos bordar juntas o Jingles.:))

Lembrámo-nos também de tornar a coisa mais oficial e ver se mais amigas o queriam fazer connosco! Por isso, sintam-se desde já todas convidadas a participar connosco neste SAL durante o ano de 2014. Quem quiser entrar connosco, é só dizer! :)

Já sei que a querida Annette também entrará nesta aventura connosco, o que me deixa muito feliz!:)

Eu irei começar o meu agora em Fevereiro e tentar fazer já os 2 primeiros bloquinhos.

A Nia, por razões óbvias, vai começar mais tarde,mas, qual abelhinha trabalhadora que ela é (mesmo com o Lourenço!) depressa me apanhará ou até ultrapassará! (não duvidava nada! LOL)

Claro que isto não tem regras nenhumas e cada uma vai bordando de acordo com o seu tempo e pode nem terminar este ano, mas achámos giro partilhar com todas vocês, pois quantas mais formos, mais motivação ganhamos todas :) A única regra é mesmo querer fazê-lo!;)

In the middle of last year i've decided i would do a SAL with myself, basically i would challenge myself :)

The chosen graphic it was dear Nia "fault", who showed it in her blog, the recent new design from Lizzie Kate. At the time, i confess, i still knew little of her work, but have been researching it and i just loved the graphics! Super cute designs and cheerful colors that made me feel starting to stitch (i always loved bright colours to stitch:))

When Nia showed us the "Jingles", i fell in love and decided that was the one i would stitch! Because they are 12 blocks, stitching one every month., it would be ready to decorate the house for Christmas!:)

Yeah, but I thought all of that in late June, and even then (overconfident), i decided to buy the first 6 blocks of the chart, hoping to stitch them in 3 months and then the other 6 in other 3 months and perhaps could finish before christmas! But soon i had to be realistic and tell myself that no, "you will never, in your wildest dreams, will finish it all before the end of the year, even with so much more you want to do" (scrapbook albuns included, which take a long time).

So I decided at that time that this graphic would be my main goal in 2014 in cross stitch! I want to stitch more things of course (in fact, already started), but this will be my big SAL to do along the whole year and hopefully I can finish it in time ... hopefully no, I'll get it! : D

However , i've talked a lot about it with Nia and she always showed interest in also stitch it, after all , she was the one who "discover it" for me:p And early this year , we've exchanged more emails and concluded that we would stitch together the Jingles. :)

We also talk about to make it kind of official and see if we could join some more friends with us ! So you are now all invited to participate with us in this SAL during 2014! Who wants to join us, just say so! :)

I know that dear Annette also want to come into this adventure with us, which makes me very happy :)

I will start mine in February and already will try to do the first 2 blocks .

Nia, for obvious reasons, will start later, but just like a little bee (even with Lourenço!) she will catch me in no time or even pass me by! (the most sure it will happen LOL )

Of course this has no rules and each one will stitch according to each one time and may not be able to finish until the end of the year, but we wanted to share with all of you, because the many more we are, more motivation we won all :) 

The only rule is just want to do it ;)

A little fat men & a Giveaway:)

Olá meninas! Tenho andado tão desaparecida e tão em falta com algumas de vós...seja em blogs para ler, emails para responder e até actualizar este meu cantinho, mas o tempo tem sido muito escasso mesmo, no meio do trabalho, do filho que esteve doente e da falta de sono também!

Mas pelo menos tenho continuado com os meus projectos, tanto de ponto cruz, como de papercraft:) A minha troca do Halloween do blog da MS também já seguiu e assim que for recebida, partilho convosco aqui.

Hoje trago-vos mais uma peça que terminei...um dos gordinhos dos "6 Fat men" da Lizzie Kate! Este ganhei num giveaway da querida Nia e apaixonei-me logo por ele:) Aliás, adoro montes de designs da LK...cores fantásticas e desenhos muito fofos:) 

Já o terminei no mês passado e agora está a aguardar um final decente...e para breve pois já não falta muito para o natal;)

E como acho excelente a ideia de passarmos estes presentes que as amigas nos oferecem, resolvi continuar a deixar viajar este gordinho simpático e vou também sorteá-lo num giveaway aqui no blog, à semelhança do que a Nia fez;)

Por isso meninas, quem quiser ter a sorte de o ter em breve em casa, é só deixá-lo escrito aqui neste post! No dia 31 Outubro farei o sorteio para ele seguir rapidamente até uma de vós a tempo de poderem bordá-lo para o natal se assim o quiserem:)

Não resisto a partilhar também convosco mais um projecto de paperscrap que fiz. Desta vez uma tag para uma troca num fórum de scrap que fazemos todos os meses. Nesta resolvi estrear-me nas técnicas das tintas...até gostei do resultado:)

Hello girls ! I've been so away from here and from some of you ... whether on blogs to read , emails to answer and even update this blog , but the time has been very scarce, in the middle of work , the child that was sick and also lack of sleep!

But, at least, i have continued with my projects, as in cross stitching as in papercraft :) 

My halloween Exchange from the MS blog has also followed to his destiny and when it is received , i'll share with you here .

Today i bring you another piece ... I finished one of the fatties from " 6 Fat Men " by Lizzie Kate! This one i won in a giveaway from dear Nia and i fell in love with him right away :) 

In fact , i love lots of LK designs... fantastic colors and very cute designs :)

I've already finished it last month and is now waiting for a decent finish ... and it will be soon because christmas is just around the corner ;)

And because i think that's a fantastic idea to trade these gifts that our friends give us , i decided to continue to let this little friend to travel and i will also give him away in a Giveaway that i will do here in the blog, like Nia did ;)

So, girls , who want to be lucky enough to have him in your home soon , just coment on this post! On October 31st,  i will draw it, and let him move quickly on to one of you in time to be able to stitch it for Christmas if you want :)

I also can not resist to share with you another project i did in paperscrap . This time was a tag for an exchange in a scrap forum that we do every month. I decided to try some paints techniques and i kind liked it the result:)
