Friendship ☼

Há alturas em que as nossas vidas loucas e agitadas passam tão a correr que uma pessoa nem se apercebe que passaram meses (ás vezes anos!) sem falar com determinadas pessoas de quem até somos (ou fomos) próximas e de quem gostamos muito e com quem criámos empatia, mas que o tempo nos afastou sem quase nos apercebermos.

E isso é sempre triste e faz-nos pensar que a vida é tão louca que nem nos deixa tempo para cultivar e aproveitar as nossas amizades.

Mas acontece também, por vezes, de repente, sermos surpreendidos por alguma pessoa que, de repente, sem falarmos há tanto tempo, nos "invade" a nossa casa e nos deixa com um sorriso de orelha a orelha! :)

A Filipa foi uma dessas pessoas :) 

Conhecemo-nos aqui pelo mundo da blogosfera já há uns 2 anos e até tínhamos (e temos) em comum os nossos filhotes que têm idades próximas. No entanto, numa das suas reviravoltas loucas que a vida tem, desde há muitos meses que não falávamos.

Qual não é o meu espanto quando há dias chego a casa e sou surpreendida por um pacote em nome dela! E o meu espanto foi ainda maior assim que o abri e vi as coisas lindas e especiais que ela me enviou!

Mas mais do que esses miminhos, foi o gesto dela que me fez colocar um sorriso enorme e pensar que realmente quando a amizade existe, não são as nossas vidas loucas e falta de tempo que a vai levar para longe! :)

Muito obrigada, mais uma vez, Filipa, por estes miminhos tão especiais (que eu adorei!) e pelo teu carinho e amizade! :)

Sometimes our crazy and hectic lives are running so fast that we don't notice that we spent months (sometimes years!) without talking to certain people who are (or were) close to us and whom we have created empathy, but that time got us away almost without us notice. 

And it is always sad and makes us think that life is so crazy that don't even lets us grow and enjoy our friendships. 

But it also happens, sometimes, that we are surprised by someone who suddenly without talking with us for so long, "invades" our home and leaves us with a smile from ear to ear! :)

Filipa was one of those people :) 

We met here in the blogosphere world around two years ago and even had (and have) in common the fact that our boys are close in age. However, on its crazy twists that life has, we spent many months without talking. 

So, you can imagine how was i surprised a few days ago when i got home and see a package in her name! And my surprise was even bigger when i opened it and saw the beautiful and special things that she sent me! 

But more than this gifts, it was the gesture that made me put a big smile in my face and think that when friendship really exists, it's not our crazy lives and lack of time that will lead us far away! :) 

Thank you, once again, Filipa, for these goodies so special (which i loved!) and for your care and friendship! :)

Mais um mês quase a acabar e que passou a voar! E nem um post aqui! Para (não) variar, mês atribulado! Incluiu muito trabalho, algum (pouco!) descanso também e alguns acontecimentos importantes!

Um deles foi o 30º aniversário da querida Annette no passado dia 10! Teve um aniversário muito especial, recheada de miminhos e boas surpresas que acho que ela nunca esquecerá, incluindo a visita surpresa da nossa amiga Valérie! Ambas deliraram, claro!

Também não quis deixar passar a data em branco, obviamente, por isso enviei-lhe alguns miminhos! Umas prendinhas para os filhotes, a Kira e o Noah e para ela também, claro!

Como ando com muito pouco tempo para fazer algo mais elaborado em ponto cruz ou em scrap, optei por lhe oferecer um album que fiz num workshop há uns meses e que achei perfeito para ela, já que o tema é de flores e jardins. Como a Annette adora o seu jardim e cuidar dele, achei que seria o ideal :))

E consegui fazer um postal de aniversário, singelo, mas feito de coração! :)

Ainda em finais de Julho, tinha sido a vez da Nia de fazer mais um aninho! E lá fiz mais um postal para assinalar a data especial. Não consegui fazer mais nada handmade, por isso enviei-lhe um caderninho da Gorjuss para ela fazer as suas listinhas :)

No passado fim-de-semana fiz mais 2 postais ...mês cheio de aniversários este!! :D

E continuo a fazer o meu bloquinho do Jingles deste mês e estou a acabar mais um bordado para um bebé que está quase a nascer! Mostro-vos em breve!

Another month is almost over and it has passed flying! And not even a post here! To (not) change a little, it was a troubled month! Included a lot of work, some (little!) rest and also some important events! 

One of those was the 30th anniversary of the dear Annette on the 10th! She had a very special birthday, full of good surprises, sweet gifts, which i think she will never forget, including a surprise visit from our friend Valérie! Both were over the moon, of course! 

I also didn't want to pass the date blank, obviously, so i sent her some goodies! Little gifts for her sweet kids, Kira and Noah and for her too, of course! 

Since i haven't been much time to do something more elaborate in cross stitch or scrap, i chose to offer her an album that i did in a workshop a few months ago, which i found perfect for her, since the theme was flowers and gardens. As Annette loves her garden and take care of him with so much love, i thought that would be ideal for her :)) 

And managed to make a birthday card, simple but made ​​from the heart! :) 

Also in late July, had been the turn of Nia to have her birthday! And so i made another postcard to mark the special date. I could not do anything handmade, so i sent her a notebook of Gorjuss so she can keep doing her "To-do" lists :)

Last weekend i did two more cards ... a month full of birthdays!! : D 

And i keep doing my August block from Jingles and also finishing another stitches for a baby that is about to be born! Will show you soon!

June & July Jingles Update

E as férias demoraram a chegar, mas depressa se passaram! É sempre assim, certo?:) Foram muito boas, deram para fazer imensas coisas e também descansar, mesmo com uma criança de 3 anos com pilhas duracel!!

E foi especialmente bom ver o quanto o Guilherme delirou com o mar, a areia, a praia e a piscina, tudo novidades, pois já nem se devia lembrar das férias do ano passado. E sobretudo adorei o facto de estar com ele 24 horas por dia, coisa que no dia-a-dia se resume a umas 3 horas:( E ele próprio também adorou ter os pais todos para ele:) Agora quero ver como vai ser o dia de volta a creche!:/

E finalmente consegui terminar o meu bloquinho atrasado do Jingles e o deste mês!! Terminei ontem à noite! :)

Ainda não há novidades das outras meninas pois as férias não deixaram, mas é por uma boa causa, não acham? Se ainda houver novidades durante o mês, eu mostro:)

E agora vou começar a bordar uma peça para mais um bebé, já que não param de aparecer bebés à minha volta! O que é fantástico! :))

The holidays were slow to arrive, but soon passed! It's always like this, right? :) They were very good, i did a lot of things and also rest, even with a 3 year old kid with long lasting batteries! 

And it was especially nice to see how Guillerme was all excited with the sea, the sand, the beach and pool, all new for him, because he should not remember the holidays last year. And i especially loved the fact of being with him 24 hours a day, something that in the day life is just about 3 hours: (

And he himself also loved to have his parents all to himself :) Now I want to see how will be the day back to daycare! :/ 

I finally managed to finish my late block from Jingles and the one from this month! I finished it last night! 

Still no news from the other girls because they are on holidays, but it's for a good cause, right?:D If there is news during the month, i'll show it :) 

Now i'll start another piece for another baby, since babies keep coming around me! Which is fantastic! :))

Finalmente de férias! :))

Ainda é só há 2 dias, mas já passaram a voar! :) Basta estar por casa para encontrarmos mil coisas a fazer, não é? Mas também tem dado para descansar, o que tem sido muito bom. E daqui a uns dias, a praia espera-nos :))

Pois é, e o calor também tem trazido bebés, ou pelo menos, amigas grávidas! :) Nos últimos dias descobri mais uma grande amiga grávida...fiquei tão feliz :)) 

E amigas grávidas também significam coisinhas para bordar para esses novos bebés :) Não tenho podido bordar muitas coisas, mas pelo menos uma pecinha faço questão! :)

A que vos mostro hoje é para a Francisca que nasce em Outubro. Escolhi um babete com o nome dela e uma fadinha para lhe desejar muita sorte, agora ainda na barriga da mãe e depois quando nascer, claro, durante toda a vida dela!:)

E agora, de volta ao meu Jingles :D

Finally i'm on holidays! :)) 

It's only for 2 days but they already have gone flying! :) Just being at home we find a thousand things to do, isn't it? But it has also given time to rest, which has been very good. And in a few days, the beach awaits for us :)) 

So and the heat has also brought babies, or at least, pregnant friends! :) In recent days i found out that another great friend is pregnant ... i was so happy :)) 

And pregnant friends also mean little things to stitch for these new babies :) I haven't been able to stitch many things, but at least one small piece i have to! :) 

And the one i show you today is for Francisca who will born in October. I chose a bib with her ​​name and a little fair to wish her good luck, now in her mother's belly and after birth, of course, in her whole life! :) 

And now, back to my Jingles: D

Julho começou e onde está o meu Jingles de Junho? Pois....atrasado, muito atrasado....shame on me :/
O mês de Junho, como já vos disse, foi bem atribulado e com muito pouco tempo livre para os crafts, por isso o Jingles não saiu a tempo. Já estou a trabalhar nele, portanto este mês irão sair 2 bloquinhos! Espero conseguir mostrar-vos antes do final do mês!

Mas há uma certa menina que nunca me deixa ficar mal, pois, qual abelhinha trabalhadora, esteve até mesmo ao final do último dia do mês a trabalhar no seu bloquinho e conseguiu terminar a tempo! Ela mostrou-me em directo, por isso é mesmo verdade eheheh Foi a Annette, claro....ora vejam lá o lindo gráfico que ela bordou e o seu post sobre isso :)

A Noni que se juntou a nós mais tarde, deu às agulhas bem rápido e fez um grande avanço desde a última vez que aqui mostrei! Vejam como já está o seu bordado e o post dela sobre isso:)

E a Nia, que sempre disse que se iria juntar, mas um pouco mais tarde (por razões bem fofas!:p) conseguiu começar o seu Jingles e já mostrou algum avanço! A meio de Junho assim ía o seu bordado! Aqui ela conta-nos o seu inicio:)

E assim vai o nosso SAL...espero ver ainda mais avanços no final de Julho, especialmente meus!! :))

July started and where is my Jingles June block? Well .... late, too late .... shame on me :/ June as i've told you, it was pretty busy and with very little free time for crafts, so Jingles did not come out on time. I'm already working on it, so this month will have two blocks! I hope to show you before the end of the month! 

But there is a certain girl who never lets me down, because, just like a working little bee, she worked hard on her jingles right on the last day of the month and managed to finish on time! She showed me live, so it's really true eheheh It was Annette, of course .... so check her beautiful stitches and her post about it :) 

Noni joined us later, but she speeded up with her needles and made a great progress since the last time i showed here! See how it is her Jingles in the beginning of the month and her post about it :) 

And Nia, who always said that would be joining us but a little later (for very cute reasons: p) could start herJingles and has shown some progress! So here is how her Jingles was in the mid June! And  here she tells us her start :) 

And so it is our SAL ... hope to see even more advances in late July, especially mine! :))

Como previa, estas semanas foram meio loucas, mas tudo se conseguiu fazer. Claro que agora precisava de 1 mês de férias, mas não pode ser. Pelo menos só faltam 3 semanas para as minhas 2 semanas de férias...já será bem bom:))

O meu Guilherme fez 3 anos na semana passada e foi tão bom! Teve direito a festinha na creche e depois uma em casa com a familia nessa noite e uma em grande no fim-de-semana com mais familia e amigos...por isso, adorou estes dias, claro! E no meio ainda teve a festinha de final do ano da creche! Dias em cheio!

Eu também adorei, óbvio, mas foram dias bem agitados e cheios de afazeres, como imaginam, para poder correr tudo bem, por isso estou estafada! lol Mas agora há que trabalhar :)

Os meus crafts, confesso, estes mês estagnaram! Já comecei o bloquinho do Jingles...mas está a ir muitoooo devagar! :p

Entretanto tenho falhado em vos mostrar uma prendinha bem especial que uma amiga querida me enviou. Já enviou na Páscoa, mas já sabem como é...o tempo passa e não há tempo para nada!

Mas vejam a linda almofadinha que a Valérie me enviou!! É linda...adorei! Ela sabe que sou fã das almofadas dela e, mais uma vez, adorei esta que ela fez especialmente para mim! Obrigada minha querida! :)

E a querida Annette também me enviou na mesma altura uns brinquedos para o Guilherme! Um para ele pintar ovinhos e outro para construir várias formas com pecinhas pequenas que ele adorou!

As expected, these weeks were a bit insane, but it all got done. Of course now i needed 1 month of vacation, but it can not be. At least it's only missing 3 weeks for my 2 week vacation ... it will be great! :)) 

Guilherme made three years old last week and it was so good! Was entitled to have a little party at daycare and then one at home with the family that night and a big one on the weekend with more family and friends ... so he loved these days, of course! And in the middle he still had a little party for the end of the year in the kindgarden! Full days! 
I also loved, obviously, but were shaken well and full of chores day, as you can imagine, to be able to all turn out okay, so i'm worn out! lol But now we must work :) 
I want to show you some pictures of his birthday party :) (little things made ​​by my sister, of course :))

My crafts, i confess, had stopped for this month! I have already begun the little block of this month of the Jingles ... but it's going veryyyy slowly! : p 

Meanwhile i failed to show you a very special little present that a dear friend sent me. She already sent it at Easter but you already know how it goes... time passes and no time for anything! 
But look at the beautiful cushion that Valerie sent me! It's beautiful ... i just loved it! She knows i'm a fan of her little pillows and once again, i loved that she made this one especially for me! Thank you my dear! :)

And dear Annette has sent me at the same time some toys for Guilherme! One for him to paint eggs, and another to build various shapes with small little pieces that he loved it!

A Butterfly Special Album :)

Em Março foi o aniversário da minha querida amiga Valérie e uns meses antes já tinha decidido fazer-lhe um álbum. Andava apenas à procura dos papéis especiais para o fazer quando em Janeiro saiu uma colecção nova, a qual, assim que a vi, me fez terminar a minha procura.:)

Os papéis eram lindos, cheios de pormenores, alguns com glitter que lhes dá logo um toque especial, com o tema principal de borboletas e, inclusivé, algumas frases em francês. Tinham de ser aqueles os papéis para o album da Valérie, claro :)

A execução demorou algum tempo, pois, já se sabe, o tempo livre não abunda, mas o carinho e amizade dão-nos força e alento para tudo e o imaginar a cara e alegria da Valérie a receber o álbum, ainda dava mais vontade de terminar a tempo e horas. E consegui! :)

Esperei ansiosamente pela reacção dela, a qual foi ainda mais do que eu esperava. A alegria dela a falar do quanto tinha adorado foi tudo para mim :) Adorei realmente fazer-lhe esta prenda tão especial, já que a amizade dela vale isso e muito mais :))

Fica um cheirinho do álbum e, no final, um vídeo que a minha mana editou para dar uma perspectiva mais real :)

March was the birthday of my dear friend Valerie and a few months before i had already decided to make her an album. I was looking for the right papers to do it when in January a new collection came out, which, as soon as i saw it, made me end my search.:)

The papers were beautiful, full of details, some with glitter which gives them a special touch, and with the main theme of butterflies and even a few phrases in French. Had to be those papers to make Valérie's album, of course :)

The execution took some time, because we already know, free time is scarce, but the affection and friendship give us strength and encouragement to all and imagine the joy of Valérie's face receiving the album, made me even more desire to finish it on time. And i did it! :)

I waited anxiously for her reaction, which was even more than i expected. Her joy talking about how much she had loved it was everything to me :) I really loved to make her this gift so special, as her friendship is worth that and more :))

Jingles SAL May Update

Desta vez não consegui fazer este post ainda em Maio...mês complicado este! Mas vou fingir que ainda é 31 de Maio:D  Por isso....
This time i couldn't make this post still in May...very complicated month! But i'll pretend that we are still on 31st of May :D So...

Ora já estamos naquela altura do mês....pois é, o update do nosso Jingles!:)

Confesso que este mês, em ponto cruz, foi tudo o que eu fiz...o bloquinho de Maio. 

Terminei-o rápido e, mais uma vez, adorei bordá-lo:)

I confess that, this month, this block was everything that i stitched. I finished very quickly and, once again, i loved it:)

No incio do mês a Noni fez um update do seu segundo bloquinho que aqui fica. Provavelmente também se atrasou, como eu! lol Mas, se for preciso, faço mais um update durante o mês de Junho :)

And it seems that there isn't big news from the other girls :(
In the beggining of the month, Noni made a little update of her second block, which you can see it here. Probably she is also a little late, like i am! lol But, meanwhile, i can make another update post in the middle of the month, if i see some news :)

Tenham uma excelente semana e um fantástico mês de Junho que, além de ser o inicio do verão (espero eu!) é também o mês de aniversário do meu Guilherme! Adoro Junho :))

Este mês está a ser complicado de cumprir com um dos meus objectivos principais deste ano que era o de postar todas as semanas...já estamos a mais de meio de maio e nem um post neste blog ainda este mês :(

Para (não) variar têm sido semanas de muito trabalho e falta de pessoal ao mesmo tempo, o que resulta em eu chegar a casa durante a semana quase sempre às 10 horas da noite sem vontade ou forças de fazer mais nada a não ser conseguir dar ainda um beijo no meu filho (e tentar limpar um pouco a cozinha!)

Os fins-de-semana passam a correr e a tentar fazer 1000 coisas ao mesmo tempo, sendo que a principal é estar com o Guilherme antes que ele qualquer dia não conheça os pais:/

Com tudo isto os meus crafts vão ficando para trás, o que bem me faz falta...especialmente à minha sanidade mental :(

Um dos  workshops do evento no Porto ("Chocolate Quente") que eu fui em Abril, foi com a Teresa Collins, uma das minhas scrapbookers (e designers) favoritas e um dos projectos dela foi um banner que imitava polaroids e que depois decorávamos a gosto. Cheguei a começar esse projecto lá no workshop, pois até levei algumas fotos, mas acabei por termina-lo umas 2 semanas mais tarde, já em casa com calma.

O tema foram as primeiras férias de verão nossas com o Guilherme quando ele tinha 1 ano, no Algarve.

Este foi o resultado:)

This month is being complicated to reach one of my main goals this year, that was to post every week ... now we are more than in the middle of May and there isn't even one post on this blog this month : (
To (not) change, i've had weeks of hard work and lack of staff at the same time, which results in getting home during the week almost every day at 10 o'clock at night without will or strength to do anything more than to be able to kiss my son (and try to clean up things a little on the kitchen!)
The weekends are running and trying to do 1000 things at once, and the main priority is being and playing with Guilherme ... before one of these days he doen's know who his parents are :/

With all this, my crafts are left behind, and i really miss them ... especially my mental sanity :(

One of the workshops from the event in Porto ("Chocolate Quente") i went in April, was with Teresa Collins, one of my favourite scrapbookers (and designers) and one of her projects was a banner that looks like polaroids and then we just decorate them. I got to start this project there in the workshop, because i even took some photos with me, but i just finished it about 2 weeks later.
The theme was our first summer vacation with Guilherme when he was 1 year old, in the Algarve .
This was the result :)

I really enjoyed doing this (and it wans't hard work at all!) and really liked the way it looked :)

Jingles SAL April Update

E mesmo com fins-de-semana fora e aniversários e prendas em scrap pelo meio, ainda consegui terminar o meu bloquinho do mês de Abril do nosso Jingles :)

Não fiz mais nada em ponto cruz este mês, mas consegui o meu objectivo principal do mês nesta arte e, por isso, estou contente. Fora que fiz várias coisinhas em scrap, portanto, mais contente ainda estou:)

And even with weekends away and birthdays gifts and scrap in the middle, i still managed to finish my April block of our Jingles :) 
I did nothing more in cross stitch this month, but i got my main goal of the month on this art, so i'm happy. I made several little things in scrap, so i'm still happier :)
